simple asSo many homes, I would read tha' homes if it weren't so freaking long, ah. First world problems; I love them.
Everyone's got problems, and human beings aren't naturally inclined to do anything much about other people's problems that are not immediately evident to them. Fact of life; throw morality out the window; it's just a fact, with no intention inherent to it.
Morality is human-created, to explain our natural inclination to do something about other people's problems that are immediately evident to us. The logical conclusion does not hold great sway within our brains because our brains have difficulty seeing any number of people above a certain threshold as thinking, living individuals.
We are naught but arbitrarily differentiated piles of atoms in the great soup of atoms that ends around the bounds of the atmosphere and swings through space in relation to other great piles of atoms, the central one of which moves very fast indeed while standing still. Our brains are formed mush, within which more atoms and whatnot gyrate and move and swing with imperceptible speed, and to that nigh-inexplicable mess, we ascribe morality and personality.
Personality is the pattern. Consciousness is you, who is the movement of atoms and whatnot within that section of the soup of atoms that is arbitrarily delineated as your brain. You do what you do, and you do it with the inclination to ascribe meaning, which is why to think of reality like this is alien to you.
God is your feeble attempt to ascribe morality and personality and happiness to the entire soup, and to the imagined cook of that soup, and you try to make that cook look like you, which makes it all the more laughable. What defies any belief that brain sections can be counted on to do shit is how you try to prove that not only is there a cook, but from there, explicitly mentioned or not, further prove that necessarily, the cook looks and thinks like you do. That is what shakes my faith in humanity, and causes me to give it only the smallest, most cautious amounts possible. That sort of thinking is why only few of us can have the things we want, and why only maybe a third to a quarter of us can have the things we need.

i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, babyMany assumptions were made; I actually agree with most of that stuff, so, lel.

What do you consider to be your religious position? Belief-wise; in the Trash Heap, nobody who cares judges, and nobody who judges cares.

i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, babyAtheist; a lack of belief. The "God" question is a waste of time to me; I might as well be asking if unicorns exist too, only to find no evidence.
I'd straight-up call Him an imaginary friend aloud if I didn't think it'd get me lynched. Or, well, ignored and judged to be either insane or joking.
i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, baby
