I remember when I first encountered an Abra.

Unsurprisingly, it teleported from the fight.

I then decided that I wanted to catch one. I spent so many poke balls but I finally caught one.

I promptly abandoned him in the PC.

Since when did they start selling kids functioning flamethrowers in a game store? (Deliberately misreading that for the sake of humor.)

I used an abra my first time around.

Then I realized that my rival made his into an Alakazam, whereas I could only evolve mine into a Kadabra.

I have both an Alakazam (named Nuju) and a Machamp (named, of course, Muscle). Because I have a sister ^note who also owns a Game Boy and who is willing to let me borrow it.
