An unknown antagonist.Grimya the Dark. Messed up her face on the close up but its accurate in the full.

You know how theres an Ogre? There's also a troll. A troll boss, who is an early antagonist in the story.

Pierra and Gofiro in the new design. Gofiro just needs a few more tweaks and it should be done. The size difference isn't that great, just pretend she's standing in a hole. I'll fix that image later.

And High ranking, elite female knights. Any metal types of the humanoid variety, if they have hair, you can be sure its going to be steel hair. Metal types qualify to become knights, and that is how you can get knights in a variety of sizes and forms.

Grimya doesn't look all that evil to me, in all honesty. She just looks like an average tattered peasant with crazy hair and a really, really big scythe.

I'm really pleased with these pics. The anatomy and the shading turned out rather well.

But it's really irritating when you go to all the effort to draw correctly positioned legs, and then draw a skirt over the top of them.

^The positioning is done well and shows nicely despite the clothing.

Thanks I put the shadows there to show where they were; I hope that looks right.

Shadow Dimentio: I see, but thats just to throw people off.

A w.i.p. of rocky terrain. I was trying to draw the setting for an area that hides Dragons. Those clouds are obviously unfinished and I need more mountains. The midground needs a lot of work.

Now that the style is set, the question is if should I go with normalish proportions or the exxagerated proportions usually found in a 3D movie? I guess it depends on what medium this eventually goes to.

Gofiro's sword looks absurdly small.

I kind of assumed that was perspective?

Finished the third in my Homestuck art project. Why did I decide that using such thick lines was a good idea, it made the face absurdly hard.

I drew something. It fails to thrill me.

Loni Jay: Yeah, I was going for perspective, I need to work on that. Your characters have neat poses by the way.

Yuanchosaan: It looks like an old asian ink painting.

I quick coloring of Pierra and Gofiro.

A landscape w.i.p., using textured brushes. It's also the setting where some fights occur in the script of the story I was writing regarding the dragon liberation force and stuff.

^^^^Hehe, good guess - it was based on a Chinese ink painting. I like the texture of the sky in your landscape.

^^We're a community of artists who naturally wish for attention, rather than art critics ready to give out some. How ought we attract some of the latter?

Personally, my ear (or should it be eye?) is better than my hand, but I would like to have some direction to guide it. That is, either I know you as an artist, or the artwork itself is impression enough.

I like Fulgrate's volcanic-looking landscape.

Anyway, an unorthodox family portrait featuring Jesus Christ, Pharaoh Hatshepsut, and a T. Rex.

I worked even more on that terrain for the setting I mentioned. The ground beneath hides a cave with a very shallow ceiling as the giant, scaly hand demonstrates.

Err...

Why does that shield have bullet holes?

Also: That sword really doesn't long enough to require two hands. The hilt is nearly half as big as the sword itself.

I think maybe the hilt is longer to allow the wielder to shift their grip further apart for more leverage?

Shadow Dimentio: Those are laser burns. The swords hilt is intentionally half the length of the blade, as the sword art of fighting style he uses requires a blade with a specific center of gravity. An example is in the webcomic which the project is based on, the protagonist used a rare style that incorporates linear, instantaneous attacks, sometimes jousting.

A SILVER SHIELD illustration.

An unfinished drawing of the Knight of Kool. He is going to be The Ace for an early arc. What his role is in the story I haven't decided yet, anything from the Protagonists friend to possibly an Antagonist. I have yet to decide. All I know is that he is suppose to be really awesome and everybody in that kingdom thinks so. He also might be the strongest knight despite his unorthodox look. If a rival, the protagonist might be annoyed. If a friend, he will probably be defeated by a major villain.
