Thanks.
Yeah. He's only supposed to be about 30, though, so I have to figure out how many more lines to add before he starts to look older.
Novel progress: The Adroan (110k words), Yume no Hime (81k), The Pigeon Witch (40k)I like how well you did the shadows on his eyes.
Whoa, trippy. O~o

Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.I did a pencil sketch of Yu Narukami from Persona 4 The Animation. I drew the angle of his right arm wrong. ;_;
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting Agency@Noa: That's pretty awesome. I really like the line weight you get in your sketches.
I get the feeling that might be pretty good too, but it's so faint I can barely make it out on my laptop screen. Could you turn up the contrast?

Ms. White◊, sans Coat, Hat, Mask.
This was intended to be a first draft, and she still doesn't look quite like I pictured her, but it took a surprisingly long time to draw, so I'm not doing it again, since I have just over a week to finish this and another short script.
For those wondering, my last three drawings were from a contest to create a sci-fi or fantasy comic with a BBW main character.

Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.Wheezy: Thanks! ^_^; I feel a bit less morose about how messy it is compared to pieces you've posted, now.
The contest you're entering wouldn't happen to be this one, would it?
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableYes. Everyone seems to be submitting just one or two drawings, so I thought I'd up my chances by including a comic script and multiple character designs. At the very least, it might make up for being one of the very few entrants still drawing only in pencil.

Novel progress: The Adroan (110k words), Yume no Hime (81k), The Pigeon Witch (40k)I'm a pencil fan myself, even if I have moved on to using a tablet. Now I don't have to worry about constantly sharpening my utensil!
A friendly flower, and your best friend. He has a knack for funny faces.Toll! I'll be on watch for your final entry, then. :)
Funny, that's the reason I use mechanical...!
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableThanks. Again, the story's already here. You can read it now. I could use some feedback on it, anyway.
Mechanical pencils. 0.7 with B leads. I used to use 0.5, but making thick lines was too big of a pain.

Novel progress: The Adroan (110k words), Yume no Hime (81k), The Pigeon Witch (40k)Wheezy: Do you mean when I scan it in? I'll see what I can do. Thanks.
I thought I should have adjusted something when I scanned it. I've just been drawing with a light pencil in my sketchbook for a while now.
Does this look better? I tried lowering the contrast. It looked darker that way...

I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyI'll reply in that thread when I finish. :)
You might try lowering the brightness and raising the contrast at the same time?
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableThanks.
And Noa's right. I think you can do that in Paint. Although the best way to bring the linework out would be to play with the levels. If you're an artist, here's no excuse not to have GIMP. Google it now. It's free.

Simple Dragon vs Fighting Dragon
Slight re-adjustments of the movie design for some of the characters. I think maybe the hero and heroine are done, maybe. Simple Dragon vs Fighting Dragon

You should make his face a little more wrinkly, that would help with the whole "Angry, stressed cop" thing.
