Seeing Nekomamushi in his normal life he feels like the OP version of Garfield. He even eats lasagna.

No electric powers. Also no Ho Yay with the MC.

Nekomamushi is pretty great, he's literally a Tsundere, stronger version of Garfield.

Of course Zoro doesn't give a shit about Sanji.

SO yea, Brook knows something about Sanji's family that he's keeping quiet about. And wow, Assassins...that explains his constant low profile.

Not exactly matching my theory of a mafia, but the Vinsmoke Family of Assassins is music to my ears. And I'm surprised Minks have the materials to make lasagna.

Also, Chopper is finally feeling the effects of adolescence. I knew that one joke was eventually going to pay off.

Robin was great too, but I'm disappointed we didn't get to see her face as she waved that cat toy.

Calling it: The Vinsmokes were responsible for the poison attack that killed Brook and his crew.

I've see that theory being mused upon on Reddit. I can see that happening, but arrows don't seem to be something classy assassins would use. Then again, what would I know about killing people?

One Piece Podcast had noted that Cat-Viper was a name Oda grew fond of when Brook's voice actor sang a nonsensical song about such a character. I can only assume Brook's tune at the beginning is that very same song.

Things are getting interesting.

I really hope this arc pans out and gives Sanji some good development.

Though when it comes to stuff like this, my faith in Oda is not as solid as it once was, but lets see how it plays out.

& Maybe the Vinsmokes were less classy 50 years ago, or Brook knows them from his royal convoy days. A likely place for assassins to turn up.

I forgot he was part of a royal convoy.

He gave that just a random offhand mention when he was formally introducing himself to the crew, right? Law of Conservation of Detail is bound to kick in at some point, and this does seem like the right place for it. Failing to protect a king from assassination would be an excellent reason for a royal guard to become a rogue.

The way he phrased it "Captain of a certain country's army" should tell you that's going to come up again, if nothing else did.

I was wondering how, seeing the country is in West Blue, but something like this could work.

There's a definite implication that the Vinsmokes have some kind of access to inter-Blue travel that's otherwise unusual.

So we gonna get a bunch of Hunter x Hunter memes related to the Zoldyck family now? Heheh.

My response to Chopper's love interest-CHEATER! Oda said he couldn't fall for in love with humans-BUT Minks are an off-shoot of humanity.

But I'm okay with it as long as she becomes developed, and I'm not gonna lie...I kinda predicted this would happen. Weird.

Who says Minks are an offshoot of humanity? More to the point, she hardly looks like you're normal human. But that's assuming this is actually going to lead to something.

I thought it was just an obvious joke that Oda would obviously do because how can you not when they're on an island full of animal people.

Why the fuck would it lead to something? I mean she looks almost exactly like Wanda possessing I guess the generic female mink look. Its just for a little gag nothing else especially since shes only in the one panel the entire chapter.
