Fairy Tail Route: So this kid had a dragon as a parent. His real mom and dad dunno. Of course being a demon kind of makes this unimportant along with the fact his dragon dad was killed by this evil dragon who just happened to be human once. BTW this dragon has been watching over his boy as a spirit. Then you have a blonde woman who had a mom and dad who were rich and fab. Suddenly her mom disappeared and her dad became a prick. You also have a kid who never got to live with his family because this evil demon killed his parents and even his teacher. Finally this red haired girl was raised to be a slave, and the best thing she had to a parent died trying to protect her. Still they have each other and friendship so it's all good.

Mileena MadnessNah, there's a structure, like this:
The Attack on Titan and Fullmetal Alchemist route: So there's this kid. He, the soft guy and tough girl he knows basically finish raising each other, with the help of some military trauma. His dad? Buggered off to god knows where to do some weird shit to the myth arc. His mom? Dead. Don't ask questions. Friendship? Well, there's those two people he lets get close to him, and the military he has a mutual "I need your resources" relationship with. Maybe some Fire-Forged Friends if he doesn't feel like being a brat today.
Two series, one shared synopsis, four main topics.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyWell, there are moms, just not Straw Hats'. There are Otohime and Scarlet, and I think Vivi's was mentioned... They are all royals, huh. Oh, also Doflamingo's.
Who are all dead.
Lola has a mom somewhere in New World.
Nobody remembers Usopp's mom? For shame.
Also Portgas D. Rouge.
"No copyright law in the universe is going to stop me!" ~ Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic ColoursAlso dead.

Choppers mother is probably still alive, somewhere in that herd of reindeer.
He's currently 17 year old, reindeer reach sexual maturity at around two years, and that sum of 19 years is getting pretty close to recorded longest lifespan.
So probably dead too.
That's Earth Reindeer. I was under the impression that chopper wasn't fully grown when he joined the crew. At the very least his natural form got bigger during the time skip.
Fruit's screwing with his biology. Also chugging his self-cooked combat drugs.
You know, ever since Chopper managed to get his other forms working without Rumble Balls, I've wondered if other Zoan types could devise forms beyond the standard 3 by training alone, or if something like the Rumble Ball is necessary to start working towards that.
Someone like Rob Lucci with more and more specialized forms would be terrifying.

I have a message from another time...Well he already has some variation with Life Return. He probably could push it further if he trained specifically in that direction.
Wasn't it also stated that in the One Piece world, humans have an absurdly long average lifespan? Like over a hundred?
Who knows how long reindeer live in One Piece.

"No copyright law in the universe is going to stop me!" ~ Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic ColoursTrue.
Though, if we encounter anyone else with that skill, it's most likely to be Kaido or someone on his crew.
well, we know that giants live for multiple centuries.

I have a message from another time...Later on some reindeer expert is going to come by and ask Chopper how long he thinks he can get away with acting like a child, when he's actually an old man nearing his deathbed.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyHe said that normal people could live up to 140 years, not that that's the average life span. People like Kurehei who have insane vitality can live well beyond that.
I was under the impression that Luffy's mom died, then I realized that was actually Ace's mom.
What if Luffy's mom is Big Mom?
One Strip! One Strip! What if everyone's mom is Big Mom?
Is there a trope for when a bunch of non-related characters revere someone as their mother in a super creepy way? I know Venture Bros did it once.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI have my own ideas...might be going a little overboard, though. Basically, I'm thinking of a character that was either Luffy's mom, or Portgas D. Rouge's sister, and I was thinking about doing both.
Oh God! Natural light!so like Uncle Grandpa?
(terrible show btw)

I don't actually watch Venture Bros., but I do think that this is pretty funny:

Oh God! Natural light!Actually, I was thinking of a different episode with Myra Brandish and "rebirthing", but that works too.

The transition from childishess to senility will be seamless
Moms don't real in One Piece. Olivia is still the only biological mother introduced i think
