Smoker.
Sanji and Tashigi's interactions were funny and I agree with the notion that CC's subordinates don't have a reason not to believe him.
One Piece blog Beyond the LampshadeAside from the fact that the bomb was his specialty and he's shown himself to be willing to use them. On top of everything else he does.
I do agree though I don't think they are blind or anything. Just that there are reasons there to be wary of this guy.
Improving as an author, one video at a time.Smoker. He's great. A really good brief fight. Ceasar's flashback and moment with his men were kind of redundant because we already knew all of this about him, but we did almost see Vegapunk and we actually saw the hugeass explosion that happened at PH, including the fact that this happened because CC was angry about losing his job. The dragon(at this point most definitely/likely Momonosuke) looks cute. I enjoyed the fun moments with Tashigi and Sanji in the middle of the chapter.
Not as good as previous chapters, but still good.
I know one thing we saw the old man from Franky's adventure. I wonder if he had Vegapunk's laser?
The Reaper Games starts anew. What could Vegapunk look like if Oda doesn't have him show up in a perfect flashback for that?
The old man is Vegapunk.
So I'm a writer... Franky Akainu is Vegapunk. And Momotaro.
Oooh, nice chapter. Caeser really is insane. Also nice to see more allusions to Vegapunk, and see what he was up to. It's starting to seem that while Vegapunk had a lot of huge ideas (such as the giant children), he didn't have the heart to really test it on people. Vegapunk must be a nice guy.
I gotta admit, I was kinda hoping for a "Vegapunk flashback." Explain some stuff about him and Caeser. Oh well, we got what we needed out of it.
Monomosuke is almost definitely going to grow wings soon, I'm sure. Monet specifically said that only creatures that can fly can get out of the trash, so...
I have to admit, I'm liking Sanji's and Tashigi's interactions better than I thought, though I think G5 really helps. "I think we're developing a man crush on you, Black Leg Bro!" "I don't need your man crush!" "And don't call pirates 'bro!'"
And of course the Virgo-san and Smoker fight was really awesome. Nice to see Smoker standing toe-to-toe with someone again. Anyone else wondering what exactly Virgo-san did to, uh, blow up his bamboo? I was laughing my ass off at that. Does he have haki breath too?
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorLord knows what he did with the bamboo. Maybe he just has a huge lung capacity.
I also appreciated Sanji saying that social norms and Pirates and Marines not getting along don't matter because he's a pirate and can do what he wants.
A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body.Actually, Momonosuke is an Eastern-style dragon. They're not supposed to have wings. This does raise the question why the two dragons earlier were both Western-style though. (I remember when I first read Eragon—why do these dragons look like lizards with wings? Dragons aren't supposed to have wings! Silly me. )
At this rate, there aren't going to be any G-5 marines left with Smoker and Tashigi. Sanji and Tashigi had some hilarious interactions, and I think Sanji's going to try to pull a Mr. Prince.
Smoker.
e: Forgot to mention, Eastern-style dragons can fly without wings.

One Piece blog Beyond the LampshadeI really enjoyed this chapter. Hopefully we will get to see Vegapunk in the next few arcs.
Also I hope after this arc we find out what became of Buggy, I'm starting to miss that villainous troll.

Batchee forever will leave live in our hearts and is king of sniper island! The other two dragons were Western style because they weren't made from not-Japanese.
You mean because they were made from people not from Wano? That makes sense.

Who do you think will voice Caesar in the anime? Mayuri's and Freiza's voice actor, perhaps?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I don't see how we can really speculate anything of the sort about dragon types.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI actually intended the speculation as a joke.
Momonosuke ate the Dragon Logia Fruit.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFmGNqji4u0Animal logias are still a really fun gag.
"The marvel is not that the Bear posts well, but that the Bear posts at all."Mayuri's Japanese VA already voiced Eric the Whirlwind or whatever. You know, that dude who could do Razor Wind in the filler and got knocked into Reverse Mountain's water.
Inspirational quote against powerful image of nature.I just noticed—in the close-up of Smoker's face, you can see his cigars are Marine-approved.
One Piece blog Beyond the LampshadeFranky's voice actor also did a lot of extras, doesn't stop him from being a main character now.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorHell, Franky was designed with the voice actor of Mr. 2 in mind.
The sad, REAL American dichotomy
I read this chapter and all I see are a bunch of lemmings.
