I was going to make it One Piece-esque but I was about to play Dungeons & Dragons so I was a little busy.

Damn, I wish I lived in your neighbourhood. I'm so RP deprived that I would gladly try out even systems that I have little knowledge of. And as a player, my friends always forced me to be Game Master.

I cracked a little One Piece shoutout joke in Gintama's new season. Apparently One Piece collection of DV Ds is enough big to weaponize it. Gintama, Kochikame, Bleach and Naruto were also super effective at slamming villain's head.

I am worried though that if Oda decides to do a mecha anime, it might become very similar to TTGL in style and humour. I like Oda's originality too much to approve of this. But eh. It could be another Gun X Sword but with more whacky.

As for Luffy and Coby, well. Garp and Roger were Fire-Forged Friends and it looks like they will be too. I do want to see more of Coby though.

Yeah, Smoker and Luffy look more to be Fire-Forged Friends. But their dynamic is completely different from the Luffy-Coby dynamic, it's way more antagonistic. I suspect the Zoro-Tashigi dynamic will find some middle ground between the two.

Damn, Virgo-san is awesome.

But Smoker is also awesome. This fight will be awesome.

Virgo-san: "Hmm, it'll be troublesome if I'm hit by that jutte of yours."
Smoker: "I thought you weren't a devil fruit user."

Yeah what is up with Doflamingo's choice of crew members (Both ex and current). Virgo is cool but he is quite the Cloud Cuckoo Lander.

Doffy appears to be a Social Darwinist, so presumably he lets anyone who is strong/useful enough in his crew.

It's all over the description of that trope.

Liked the new chapter and I'm looking forward to the Smoker vs Vergo fight. I guess Sanji only fought Vergo to prove Vergo's strength.

There was an excellent One Piece RP I was part of in the Roleplaying forums but it went into disuse because the original GM stopped posting. We tried to revitalise it but all was lost.

I had great villain plans later on. Greenbeard, Yellowbeard, Goldbeard, Redbeard, Bluebeard, Ironbeard, Razorbeard. All assigned by Blackbeard to get control of the One Piece world. (And Greybeard who gets defeated offscreen).

The new Warlords of the Sea were famous fast food icons, led by Ronald Mcdonald.
