My obligatory and honest reaction to everything we've heard.

But OH MY FUCKING GOD THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING.

And DAT TRAILER. Seriously, even on that tiny screen the animation looks like it puts even some of the highest-profile anime to shame.

Is that Korra in Fire Nation armour? Awesome! (I've used that word about fifty times today to describe this show.)

This looks great— it's got a gritty feel, like a noir detective story with martial arts. So excited!

My reaction is pretty much the same as my current avatar.

Does anyone know if the revealed the premire date?

Please tell me. The sooner this awesomeness comes to us, the fucking better!

Then I officially declare this the best show of 2012.

It hasn't aired yet, and we only got one trailer, and yet I know that nothing else will come near to the awesomeness of this show.

I am liking it though, that's for sure.

I saw some fedora wearing people in the trailer, which did seem a bit odd.

I only know noticed the cars.

Every time I see this in better quality the more I want it SO BADLY.

I must agree that I didn't expect it to be THAT MODERN a setting, but I'm liking it so far. I guess they put in the fedoras to go with the whole 1920s feel they were going for. Or just for Rule of Cool.

If you look closely, they're not exactly fedoras; they maintain some of the "pillar hat" designs most Earth Kingdom headwear already had.

I hope this and the new comic series finally push Avatar to get an Expanded Universe.

I don't like that they're still calling it The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra. It seems like they're trying to tie it in with the movie(which they really shouldn't be doing...) and she's not the last airbender. There are two others now.

Again, I'm sure it's not to tie in with the movie, it's for the same reason the movie was just "The Last Airbender".

I should have chosen my words better. I mean I feel like they're trying to connect the franchise with the phrase "The Last Airbender" but it doesn't fit here. It should just be "Avatar:..." because that's what it's about. The Avatar.

I just heard a rumor that Azula is still alive. Was there any confirmation on this or is it just the usual false rumor?
