Villian from Full Metal Alchemist. Looks pretty femme fatale. Long dark hair and slinky dresses and suchlike.

Her appearance is basically what Asami would look like if she was five years older and had red eyes.

And discovered cleavage.

And were an unholy abomination created when someone tried to being a dead person back to life.

By this point if you don't know that little about FMA you've got only yourself to blame. Spoiler alert, Edward Elric is an alchemist!

And obviously there are people here who haven't seen FMA; whether because they weren't old enough to see it on [as] back in the day, didn't/don't have access to [as], never had any exposure to anime & manga, or any other fucking reason.

When a person makes it clear that they have not experienced a work, it is generally considered rude to drop a major spoiler about said work.

I'd say their original identities is more of a spoiler than their nature, which is a pretty basic alchemy cliche. Like the lead into gold thing. But whatevs. Spoilered.

I know absolutely nothing about FMA aside from it is an anime and my old roommate watches it.

Honestly, not everyone has the time to watch every single thing in existence, so spoiling something expecting that everyone has already seen it is a huge dick move. I could tell you the entire plot from start to finish of the Back To The Future movies and then say, "But it's 30ish years old! You're the only one to blame for not having seen it yet!" Yet, if you haven't seen any of those movies, especially if you were intending to do so, wouldn't you still get upset about having had any and all surprises ruined for you there?
