I think I only used a last name in one of my fics, so it won't take too long.

What's the trope about time travel within one's own lifetime as a means for the main character to explore aspects of their own personality?

Not the narrow focus of I Hate Past Me, but the broader narrative of using this as a means to explore the character further.

We can see this in a certain series when some minor merely (insert funny auto-censored word for Character Title here) characters don't even bother showing their future selves in the episode in question.

Uh oh, I've finally made it to the episodes Disney cares enough about to keep off of You Tube.

I saw the ending to the movie coming a mile away, but that didn't make it any less annoying. But holy shit, that alternate universe Candace.

I'd like to see an episode where future Candi's kids are threatened and then they're shocked when she goes all Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass, just like when she was a teenager.

In which I learn that the tvtropes P&F fandom covers for all the kinds of creepy.

Whatever, our Candy is the real hero there. Learning to control the forces of the universe and that.

Shippers need to take a chill pill.

Not the regular, everyday shippers. The "ISABELLA MUST BE WITH PHINEAS OR ELSE (Insert "catastrophic" event here)" shippers. Those are the ones I'm annoyed by.

which sadly makes upa lot of the shipping base. it's hard to legitimize ship anyone when shippers get a bad (deserved in some cases) bad rep.
