Speaking of Earl, I hope some more comes of this collab. Earl and DOOM for an album with Flying Lotus could be insane.

https://soundcloud.com/rich-justice-hinmen Too white for the black kids, too white for the white kids.I pray that one day there will be a EARLDOOM album.
So, Kendrick Lamar probably just did the Verse of the Year.
Here's the song.
Opinions?
I live in a constant state of fear and misery.I loved that verse, Kendrick just went in. The people I've heard actually respond to Kendrick have been irrelevant dudes like Joell Ortiz and Bizarre, though Nas actually praised him for having the sheer audacity to bring competition back.
Oh, and apparently Doris leaked. Just going to wait for the actual release at this point.

I might have been a little reactionary in my original assessment of Yeezus. It's not an achievement by any stretch, but it does have some interesting moments.

I thought it was decent for what it was.
A D-Grade Beastie Boys rip-off?
I don't know what happened to his voice, it used to fit his flow so well. He sounds as bad as Shyne at this point.
You got Beastie Boys ripoff from that?
Production could have fit anywhere on Licensed to Ill. And he's screaming his ass off just like them.
Also, the single cover is a reference to Radio by LL, so I guess it's just a reference to Rubin's production from the 80s. It doesn't sound natural at all though.
Oh well, he had his time in the late 90s/early 00s. Hasn't released a satisfying album since 2002 (8 mile soundtrack doesn't count).
Em's been in this "Yelling all my rhymes is good" period ever since he released Recovery, which was pretty bad.
I do have some high hopes for MMLP 2 but I thought Bezerk was decent. Rather mediocre but decent.
I live in a constant state of fear and misery.Either one or the other, dude. Can't be both.
All his first singles have ended up variably worse than the album. I can't muster high hopes though.

Let me explain.
It's a rather mediocre Eminem song but as a rap song itself, it's pretty decent.
I live in a constant state of fear and misery.Old is finally streaming on Spotify. Major step up from XXX after listening to the thing about once. Danny Brown got some amazing production on this as well.
Okay, I have a somewhat odd request.
One thing that turns me off of most hip-hop is the usually slow tempo, in the 70-90 BPM region. Two hip-hop songs I do enjoy (please don't yell at me) are "Baby Got Back" and "U Can't Touch This", both of which are around 140 BPM.
So, I'm looking for more of this. Nineties hip-hop with fast tempos and catchy basslines. Anyone got any recommendations? Even if you think they're cheesy or clichéd, I'd like to hear them.
Mache dich, mein Herze, rein...Hmm, good stuff but a little too soft and dreamy for me. It doesn't have that macho Badass Boast vibe which is one of the things I do like a lot about hip-hop.
Mache dich, mein Herze, rein...How about this, then?
Annnnnnnnnnd I've lost all hype for the Marshall Mather LP II.
Skylar Grey & Nate Ruess.
EM.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME
I live in a constant state of fear and misery.I have no idea who either of those people are.
Nate's the lead singer of fun. and Skylar is that one girl from Diddy's Coming Home and Dre's I Need A Doctor.
I live in a constant state of fear and misery.Ah, those songs I've never listened to. Gotcha.
-Make an album about how much you hate popstars and how you're nothing like them.
-Come back 13 years later with a sequel involving collabs with popstars.
Outside of GKMC, has Aftermath come out with a decent release since "The Documentary"?
People can change in 13 years.
Since? Nope.

Guy who said he had the leak put up a tape of his own music. It's not leaking today.
