A lot of things can cause nosebleeds. The fact is, the nose has a network of capillaries under a thin membrane, so it's going to bleed easily.
Heart of Stoneso...is it possible that chie's attack is what caused the nosebleed? albiet in a delayed fashion because a previous nosebleed is exceedingly unlikely iirc.
Wait, so Tarsen's theory makes less sense than "nonsensical anime cliche"?
Sure. Whatever.
I'll be honest, I always felt the nosebleed was just kind there because it would be cliche to have a nosebleed at that point. The fact that they could get a joke about Kanji's ambigious sexuality out of it is a plus I guess.
The whole trip was a waste of time IMO.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.With the trash picking, the terrible food, the terrible sleep, and Morooka vomiting in the river, I would say the Inaba Scoobies would agree.
So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonMaybe it was both?
But yeah, don't people get nosebleeds for getting punched and stuff?
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.The reason I don't believe our Protagonist suffered the symptions is because that s/he awakened to their Persona 10 years ago. If she had the symptions, they would have been done early on.
Memory loss...I guess it could be taken as why they don't remember the incident...if it weren't for the fact that Ken remembers his clearly and he was at a younger age. But then, player character justification I suppose.
BTW, guy turning into shadow. MUCH creepier with cutscenes.
I'm just glad we have the Persona awaking for Minako renendered. Though it's a pain to write down.

Persona 3 Portable Liveblog...so i just made it to floor 48 and i just realised im still in the 2nd block.
i thought the 2nd block was shorter than this. maybe its just the whole secret document thing confusing me.
Secret Documents are at the end of a section.
And yeah. If you notice...there are lots of levels. If you're noticing.
Persona 3 Portable LiveblogYeah, I think the first block is the only one with a single "section". I think most of them have two, and the second to last one (disco land!) has three. If I recall correctly.
I do recall disco land being really long.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.The first block is about 25 levels. That's the length up to the next gate for the rest of Tartarus with the actual blocks being 50~ levels each.
x4 Some Secret Documents are found roughly halfway through a block, instead of at the top of one. It was confusing for me at first, too.

I sure said that!
The penultimate block is a pain.

"Strategy? Spacing? I just keep punching until I hit something." - Sol BadguyHarabah/Disco Block was physically difficult for me to look at at first.
I sure said that!Visually, I like Tziah the best.
"Strategy? Spacing? I just keep punching until I hit something." - Sol BadguyI also think Disco Land looks really out of place. It just seems so cartoony compared to the others.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.It should go to Club Escapade.
"Strategy? Spacing? I just keep punching until I hit something." - Sol BadguyDisco Land is someone elses Midnight Channel World that got sent to Tartarus through Time Travel, somehow.

So I was doing some thinking on Persona 4 Arena, and I had a bit of Fridge Brilliance on it:
(If this has been mentioned, feel free to say so. I'm not going through over 500 pages to check)
Think about it. The resurgence of the strange phenomena they'd been fighting against; the one they thought they had ended. A situation that lead to the main characters fighting each-other. The appearance of a strange girl(who happens to be related to Aigis).
Now, am I talking about Arena, or am I talking about The Answer?
It occurred to me that Arena is Persona4 answer to ...the Answer. Only with a lot more trust and the same lightheartedness that pervades the 4th entry.
Pretty slick there Atlus. Pretty slick.

One Strip! One Strip!Hmm. Nice catch.
Of course, I think if you go deeper than that basic plot explanation, it doesn't work as well, as The Answer and Arena's plot and tone are actually rather different, but yeah. I can see Arena being the "P4 equivalent" of The Answer.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.-nods- I always noticed that Arena is going to be the equalivent of the Answer.
-minor story critque on P3 and P4 here-
There is a thing that I noticed right off the bat and it makes the Investigation Team different from SEES. SEES was a formal group to defeat Shadows. This is the entire team's focus as everyone treats this very seriously. When they lost their purpose, they were nothing more than a band of people with different goals and very loose ties. The Investigation Team is a bunch of "normal" teenagers getting together thanks to a tie of supernatural events. The feel is much more loose and friendly, even with serious work. As such, they became true friends.
Personally, I prefer Persona 3's plot over Persona 4's because I like the seriousness within the story, even with the loss of interpersonal ties. This continues over to Arena where I am much more interested in the action driven prologue of the Shadow Operatives than the rather normal prologues of Persona 4. Then again, that's my preference.
I am interested in seeing what tone Persona 5 will take. How will it take this seriousness versus friendliness blend?
Persona 3 Portable Liveblog
Yeah, I've seen people point out that particular difference between S.E.E.S. and the Investigation Team.
It's basically a formally organized group vs a bunch of amateur detectives(who ironically enough have an actually detective among them), so the difference in tone is natural.
Not to mention the stakes in 4(up until Disco Eyeball and Izanami show up) are much smaller than in three. A theme which is apparent in Arena and the Answer as well.
Not that I think about it, 5 might try to combine the seriousness of 3 and bigger stakes with the more close knit character interactions of 4.
Also, this time it's the girls who get in trouble in the Hot Springs Episode, and are chewed out for it.
I literally begging the writers to do it. It's a long time coming.

One Strip! One Strip!I think it kinda helps that the Shadow Operatives are more tied to the story, while the Investigation Team is kinda just dragged into it. (Not that there is anything wrong with that, mind you)
EDIT:You and everyone else on the hot springs thing.
As for the stakes, yeah, Arena is (at least at first) basically one girl's life while The Answer is...well, The Answer has lower stakes and a more personal conflict than The Journey. It's not until the end where there is a slight chance that Yukari might fuck something up and end the world. Oh, and Erebus.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.
Which is also kinda how it is in the original games as well.
Note that only Yu was chosen by Izanami. the rest did either stumble into it, or were thrown headfirst.
Literally.
One Strip! One Strip!
Yes, go do that.
