I cycled through everyone a good number of times when I played, didn't wanna make anyone feel left out. Definitely defaulted to Ryuji the most though. By far the best party member.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. What I've been reading is that Yusuke has better accuracy and cleans up trash mobs better for the vast majority of the game, but that's about all he has on Ryuji who is stronger by end-game. Him being Ice doesn't help that much either since you have a lot of Ice personae available for Joker to use.
Speaking of which I actually just got Yusuke in-game. I'm a little concerned about how low my kindness stat is atm because you need it to get to level 2 to progress Ann's Confidant, I was too busy raising Guts so I could continue with Tae I guess. Knowledge seems by far the easiest stat to raise in this game given how many opportunities the game gives you for free boosts. Me neglecting Sojiro probably hasn't helped with that either, so I guess I'll just try and get Madarame's castle done ASAP so I can make up for lost time.
Make sure to make coffee to get points with Sojiro. You can't progress in his link otherwise.
His link will only go to level 5 till you unlock the hermit link as well.
Finished Madarame's castle tonight. I've heard a lot of people complaining about his boss fight but I had no real issues...? I honestly feel like I kinda overprepared and he was fairly easy to deal with. Granted I've still been playing on Normal and Ryuji had Rampage so getting all the painting pieces low to kill them in one turn was fairly simple. I might end up switching the difficulty to Hard from now on.
EDIT: By the way it's super cool that this game has basically a version of Tartarus in it. I smiled when I was warned about the Reaper.

Neat idea. I will say that while the museum of Vanity is kinda easy, the end boss of the dungeon was probably the biggest challenge you'll see outside of Yaldabaoth.

Is it just me or is it Yusuke like the most targeted party member? Like I especially remember the fight with the reaper where he literally attacked Yusuke the most out of any of my party members. Just in general it seems the enemies just go for him the most as opposed to the others.

I am pretty sure that’s just RNG, the AI is standard RPG skill and target roulette. Most arnt even bothering to have scripts to do combos like Fear into Ghastly Wail if Fear works like the AI in P4 did.
Actually, I also felt like Yusuke was targeted the most. It might be because he was a mainstay in my party, but so was Morgana, and I don't remember him being targeted as much (and it would be more noticeable with him being so fragile).
I didn't actually waste my time trying to kill all the paintings on the same turn. It seemed easier to keep as many down as possible since I think they only get revived one at a time and the paintings used their turns to do it.
I was under the impression that all the pieces you'd killed would regen, not one at a time (partly because that would make more sense if Madarame was supposed to be as hard as everyone said he was). I realized that wasn't the case during the boss fight proper though.
He's hard if you don't use AOE physical attacks. That's about it.
And for what it's worth, some enemies do seem to use unique targeting algorithms. For example, the boss of Haru's first dungeon will always target her with single target attacks, making it easy to use Tetrakarn.
What makes him hard is his ability to hit all your party weaknesses if he wants, but since it's random and all you experiences will vary.
Oooooooooooh I had so many stat boosting items available to me i could max out thatanos's stats.
Ooooooooooh that's probably the dumbest thing I have ever done but I don't care, reaper is dead the next time I see it. That's FINAL.
Ooooooooooh I'm going to be dumb enough to do that to every single persona that will end in my final A-team
Oh boi.

"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."Even with 99 in each stat the Reaper can still kick your ass in P3, make sure all party members are 75 ish and have more than 66 agi after debuffing him. He gets a lot easier when all your turns go first. If in vanilla or FES just down him and not all out attack so he wastes a turn getting up.
The worst thing about the Reaper I feel is not how hard his attacks hit, but how ridiculously little damage you do to him.
Don't catch you slippin' now.Yeah it’s a LONG fight but if you can hit him with Thunder Reign from Odin for paralysis then melee him for that 100% crit hit he ends up just being a softy.
A Masukukaja buff wouldn't hurt either, a handful of times when I grinded the reaper Thunder Reign missed and everyone died
I generally find the worst part about the Reaper is his instant kill spamming.
I haven't fought him, but that does sound like it sucks a lot.
One Strip! One Strip!Form what I understood, you might have an easier time facing him since you're playing 5. Especially if you find him during the flu season.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."To, expand: In Persona 5, the repear isn't immune to the flu condition that happens for a couple days.
If the reaper gets it, he can't take any actions in battle and dies automatically in 3 turns.
If he doesn't get the flu, you're probably screwed though.
Which is why you do Hifumi's confidant so you have guaranteed escape.
