For the record Haru was rank 1 in the final month of my game (as well as several rank 5s through 7s) and I managed to do a max confidant run completely blind on my first playthrough.

So it's certainly possible

I was romancing Makoto for about five minutes to earn a trophy, then reloaded and got Ryuji as my Valentine waifu Like with male P3 and P4 heroes I don't feel like shipping P5-kun with anyone, though I will probably romance Makoto for real on the second run since I felt the game kinda ships them.

It ships them super hard.

Incidentally, I also had Joker romance Makoto during my run of Persona 5. I didnt' even start on four confidants (The Fortune Teller, the Journalist, the Shogi Player, and Haru), friendzoned Ann and Kawakami, and didn't get far enough on Futaba's confidant to have the option.

Romanced Ann my first playthrough, Makoto the second, not really sure who I'll romance on a third(probably Takemi). On my second playthrough, I managed to max out everyone except for Haru(a single point away), Yusuke, Ann, and Iwai. Third playthrough should be easier due to Kawakami's gift allowing for doing something after Mementos and Palaces.

I actually managed to max all stats and Co-ops on my blind playthrough. As well as play all games and catch the Guardian. I wasn't able to read all the books, but I have been leaving a second save at the beginning of the months, so I got the trophy on this save. Oh, and out of the trophies that are available on first playthrough I also lack the baseball one because my reaction sucks, so I left it until latter...

Holy crap guys, just talk about P5 in the P5 thread. Half the point of making a separate thread for the newest entry in a franchise that has an existing thread is to keep talk of the new release from completely drowning out all other conversation in the general thread.

You know, like just happened, when someone posted something about P5 by accident and the thread immediately turned to nothing-but-P5 for a page.

Going back to what we were talking about...

I'm not sure how either of those are suppose to reflect well on Yosuke? One is him breaking her stuff and then telling her he'll fix it later, instead of just, you know, fixing it. The other is him promising something and then going back on it.

Chie and Yosuke were acquaintances because they were in the same class, and it's a small town so you hang out with whoever you can, because it's not like you've got a big pool of friends to choose from. Yosuke still comes off very much as The Friend Nobody Likes. Ryuji and Ann, meanwhile, knew each other in middle school but ended up in separate classes in high school — and both are dealing with the fallout of being targeted by Kamoshida, so they're both pretty socially isolated in general.

The intent to replace the damaged DVD is there. Instead, Chie maturely and kindly kicks him in the balls and leaves. I mean, I don't like Yosuke much either, but give Chie some anti-credit as well while you're at it. She's kind of a bitch and basically a thief.

I assume it was Chie's favorite DVD. You can expect some retribution for failing to keep save what is lent out.

And Yosuke didn't intentionally break her CD as he lost control of his bike and crashed into a trash can. It's just his shitty luck stat.

Unlike when Chie intentionally kicks him in the balls.

Also Native_Jovian: Kanji likes Yosuke actually and they do get along well when Yosuke isn't going "No get the gay away from me", which only happens during wacky anime events.

And Yu likes Yosuke too.

As for non party members you can find out from Daisuke he likes Yosuke plenty. Wishes they hung out more though.

It's been nearly 3 months, so outside of major spoilers there's really no point in putting anything in spoiler tags anymore or needing it to be restricted to said thread.

uh, no? Yosuke literally couldn't afford to keep his promise once Chie forced herself along with them. And even when she was unwanted he still bought her food anyway. It wasn't him intending to go back on his promise.

You're letting personal bias get in the way of what actually happened. Yosuke and Chie were friends, even before the game started. This is just fact. How they became friends is irrelevant, and saying that being in a small town somehow diminishes the worth of the friendship is kinda sad.

I also have no idea what you're talking about when you call Yosuke The Friend Nobody Likes. As Omega Radiance mentioned, plenty of characters outright state they like Yosuke. Heck, Yu even calls Yosuke his partner.

As for Ann and Ryuji, that doesn't change the fact that they outright stopped talking to each other and had no intentions on reconnecting. Now I'm not saying that they didn't become close over the events of the game- they did.

I don't really have any friends that guilt-trip me into wearing a swimsuit so they can ogle me and then force me into something as disgusting as a beauty pageant. Both of which are super creepy things to do to somebody.

Is the Femc route on Persona 3 Portable a good first playthrough of Persona 3?

And then they force all their male friends to do it in response.

On the bright side Daisuke and Kou thought Yu should have won, and Yosuke wanted to win.

Adding Kanji and maybe the MC seemed a bit excessive, to be honest.

Persona 5 not having any of that is why I like it so much more then the other Katsura Hoshino games, honestly.

The friends of the game feel like actual friends that don't start off friendly but develop legitimate bonds as the game progresses. It feels more natural then P3 or P4, really.

First part happened before the two people involved became friends, second part had no blackmail involved when the actual dating part comes up.
