Best use would be something like Jo Jos Bizarre Adventure Part 5, where one of the previous characters (Koichi, in that case) shows up to clash for a bit with the new hero, briefly fights them, teams up to fight off one of the villains, and then leaves for the rest of the part.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Yeah the Phantom looks that he does whatever the fuck he wants, he's no goody-goody.
I mean the organization exists, we can't do anything about unless they get taken out like chumps by an unseen force. If they don't want people from the previous two games, they could just have separate members of the org. chase them around for a little bit. I mean its not like their gonna be the main antagonist anyway. Like a cameo appearance or something cause considering Atlus wants to make a franchise outta every game I fully expect a Persona 5: Arena or Persona Q thing again.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Distrusting authority is kind of the MO of our heroes, and the Anti-Shadow organization wouldn't want to hurt them either. The story just isn't aligned in a way for them to be major enemies or allies.
Or they could just conveniently ignore it like they did all throughout 4?
It doesn't have to show up just because it would make sense. Antman would of done a pretty bad job of showing off its titular character if the Avengers had a showing greater than the Falcon's 3 minute cameo, to use another example.
For all we know, they've got some crazy Cambodian Shadow situation to deal with while this game is happening. It's also possible in the time between 4 and this game that everyone involved went on to do different things with their lives, Naoto included.

Point taken.
Well as the long as its all good in the end, I won't mind however it goes.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I will be very disappointed indeed if Naoto is not a detective anymore.
Honestly, I felt like the conclusion of Persona 4 gave us a pretty good idea what the cast wanted to do with there lives.
I actually most interested in what Rise's going to do. She can't be an idol forever. Maybe she'll go into acting? Maybe she'll campaign for improvements in the industry after the events of DAN?
Oh God! Natural light!Given the way she tends to be referred to as being one of the real greats by her colleagues and the staff around her idoling career, I'd assume she's still in entertaining somehow.

I sure said that!To be honest i think are overestimating the authority the SO and Naoto have, especially when protein junkie who wont even finish college without Aigis on his case is supposed to help them by joining. Its easily possible that secret organizations are keeping them from interfering.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Let's be honest, any and all of the SO's actual authority belongs to Mitsuru. The others are just, frankly, her lackeys.

Song of the SirensWell so fan the bad guys seem like they don't have much of a reason to justify P3 or P4 cameos. This dangerous organization mentioned on the other hand...
Mileena MadnessI'd assume the resulting clash is going to be our roguish heroes facing down an actual criminal organization- The Phantom and his buddies steal to make a point, the organization mentioned steals to get rich and powerful.
I sure said that!Their enemies seem to be bankers and whatnot. While you could certainly characterize them as "criminal organizations", it's more like they're considered above the law than simply burglars.
In none-P5 news, I picked up a PSP for cheapnote and my copy of P3P arrived. Which is nice, because it wasn't supposed to until sometime next week. Looking forward to playing as FeMC!
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Have fun!
They were kind enough to include a handful of new Personas to make up for certain S.Links being much earlier than the MaleC counterparts, so look for Neko Shogun if you want to chat up Akihiko, as an example.
I sure said that!So something that occurred to me is that this new game actually has even more in common with some of the older ones than I thought at first.
It brings back masks as a thematic feature, which were used prominently in promotional art for 1 and as a major story theme in 2, and I'm going to guess that emphasis will be put on the masks we wear when we deal with others in society, what the true self really is, if there really is any one true self, etc. given how dramatically different the characters act outside of school. It's cool to see the concept of Personae being used for more than just a superpower again.
Should I get Crisis core? It's available at the Game store I frequent for old used games.
Its one of the better games on the PSP. The other must haves are Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, Legend Of Heroes Trails In The Sky, Dissidia 012, Persona 3 Portable and FFIV Complete.
Trails in the sky though is the big must have for RPG fans.

Haven't gotten particularly far into P3P yet, but I two things are already popping up at me. 1) It's actually got quite a bit of music that's new, which I'm torn on because P3 Vanilla and FES had really awesome soundtracks, but P3P's is also pretty good so hopefully there's more of that. 2) P3P is basically a remake rather than a port, so I find myself wondering how many of the differences are present in both versions and how many are because I'm playing as FeMC. Is most dialogue outside of social links more or less the same except for pronouns, or are there more differences than that?
Yukari's still kind of a jerk, though. [FeMC] First day at new school... At least I have a friend in my class! [Yukari] Wait, you do? ...oh, you mean me. [Jupei] Hi! Hey, Yukari, are you friends with the transfer student? It's all over school that you two walked to school together this morning. [Yukari] Ugh, you're such a creep. Is there ANYONE you won't hit on? [Jupei] What? I was just saying hi! Introducing myself to the transfer student! [Yukari] Whatever, I'm going to archery club.
Yeah, I get that she has her reasons, but that doesn't make her any less of an ass.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Yukari is the Yosuke of the game- She's probably the most high schooler-y of the cast.
And yeah, there's a lot of new music if you go the FeMC's path- I mostly prefer her tracks, though losing Mass Destruction is unfortunate even if Wiping All Out is pretty good.
I sure said that! Now I wish Yukari's social link ended with the two of you beating the shit out of each other in the name of friendship.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Kinda funny how Yukari is the Yousuke, when most people would assume it's Junpei.
Though I suppose you could say Yousuke has aspects of both Yukari and Junpei. The former's jerk moments (only he doesn't get away with it like she always seems to do) and the latter's Butt-Monkey status.

One Strip! One Strip! They both are also exceptionally kind and well-mannered when they remember to stop and think before they speak.
I sure said that!Well, except when it comes to Junpei in Yukari's case.
I think her first instinct when he does anything is complete jerkass.
Yosuke might kinda be the same way when it comes to Chie, but he's just as likely to be on the receiving end, and he can also be a jackass to the others as well.
One Strip! One Strip!x6
P 3 P male side is almost exactly like the original story wise so you can play both and compare, gameplay wise the two sides are exactly the same. There is really only one big new scene on the guy's side.
Well, in this case it probably helps that they're technically enemies. That was not the smirk of a cooperative prisoner.
