That's the first time I've actually watched any of the DAN trailers. I...I don't even.
Whatever, at least it'll be funny to watch.
AO 3 profile: goodygoody19...Eh, not really getting people's reactions here. So what if they're adding a creepy mystery element to it?
Oh God! Natural light!Isn't that what Persona 4 is supposed to be about?
No! It's always been about the happy fun times with your team!
Persona 3 Portable Liveblogwe're just baffled is all. seems like its going to cause massive mood whiplash. moreso than the original games.
Actually, that may well have been what Persona 4 was really about. Think about it; at least half of the game, if not more, was devoted to things like camping trips, or hanging out at Junes or, God forbid, eating watermelon. At least half of the game was slice of life, and I think that's part of the reason it got so popular and led to all of these different spin-offs, especially in Japan, which has a history with that sort of thing.

Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundThis is a game with a murder mystery subplot
and also people in frilly idol outfits dancing while manifestations of their inner demons play instruments for them
that is a spin off of a game that was already about a murder mystery
like how the heck are you supposed to take this? Is is serious? Is it an elaborate joke? I legit don't know.
How would people feel if the plot of the game was after the story with the true ending, Teddie found a little place to joke about in the TV world, they brought the cast, and everyone just had some fun dancing?
I think it'll be pretty simple- Main plot is dark, character-interaction and (evidently) the actual gameplay won't be as dark, and it all evens out.
I sure said that!How about
get this
the game was just a dream game and had no attachment to canon whatsoever
For Those who Seek the Thrill of Death: A Dramatic SMT3 Hard PlaythroughThat is what we thought and we were actually happy with that (well, mostly)
It's the insistence that this is a serious canon happening that is raising eyebrows.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.P4 is a game where you can fight a grotesque externalization of a teenager's insecurities one in-game day, have a comedic interlude about how bad your female party members are at cooking the next, and listen to an old woman tell you about how her husband stopped recognizing her as his mind went on the third. It's a murder mystery with a jazzy soundtrack and a bright yellow color motif. It's a game where a squeaky mascot character can help you fight the secretly misogynist and murderous cop or the god who wants to turn humanity into mindless monsters.
Now all this is of course perfectly tonally consistent, but if you add in some dancing you've gone too far.
I can still talk because I generally dislike Persona 4 as well, too. =x
I don't like P4's tone to start with and even then the serious moments and the goofy moments had clear lines drawn between them.
I'm at peace with Persona 4's tone, and extremely grateful that it's been contained to games that feature the Persona 4 cast. On the other-hand, it's tone also produced some cringe-worthy excuses for humor.
Persona 4's humor was funny to me the first time around, but after a while it got old.
At this point, I kind of want to smack Teddy on the head everytime he acts like a Bearvert.
I don't really blame Teddie. He's learning how to be human from hormonal teenagers, after all.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."They really should have made it clearer to him that "hot stud" is not a normal thing to say before he got fixated on it.
Shadow Yukiko is to blame for all of it, guys.
I sure said that!It doesn't help that three Shadows in succession are heavily sexualized.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Shadow Teddie is pretty sexy.
He is too sexy for his face/You yearn for his embrace/So sexy
I think he only meant Shadow Yukiko, Shadow Kanji, and Shadow Rise. Librarian, when you say something is in succession to another thing, you count ahead without including the example you're using.
What are you talking about? Shadow Teddie is way sexier than Shadow Yukiko.
Obviously that person is posting from an alternate universe where 5'4" counts as 'giant'.
