I didn't play Golden, so its weird hearing the cast talk about Marie in Ultimax.

Oh fuck off, they removed dual audio from Ultimax?

Jesus Christ Atlus, why do you hate dual audio so much? The usual excuse was that the original games never had any toggle to change this and they'd have to program it in, but this is a ASW game, they always have Dual Audio!

The dual audio I was worried about has thankfully made it in. That is to say, being able to choose between the old and new audio for the instant kills.

@runoeddie: They only killed story mode dual audio. Dual audio during fights is still possible.

"At least" they are doing that, axing Story Mode dual audio still really pisses me off.

Every ASW has story mode dual-audio, Arena had story mode dual-audio, Ultimax should have followed suit.

That was the reason they implited Region-locking in the first place, I believe. That and a very close North American release date. It could be easy for the Japanese players to just import an American copy as prices are outragous for games there.

This excuse makes no sense to me, if that was the problem then they should have taken the japanese TEXT option off from the english release of Arena!

Or what, they were afraid the japanese were going to play english Arena with Japanese VA? Half Arena's story mode text are inner thoughts with no voice, they aren't going to understand shit unless they knew english anyway.

The ONLY reason this issue might exist is because distribution rights for the voices, and I'm always baffled as to why this seems to only be an issue with Atlus games, and not, say, Tecmo Koei games, Arc System Works games, Bandai Namco licensed anime games, etc etc.

Labrys is starting to grow on me.

Labrys is a really well-done character, and her Shadow was wonderfully twisted in her logic.

As someone who was wary thanks to not liking Aigis much, I liked Labrys.

Labrys is great, and I liked the fact that the P3 Story Mode it's her who defeats Blandsutchi.

Her epilogue is also pretty bittersweet.

I got Ultimax, but the controllers for the 360 are out of battery and I am waiting for them to charge.

Also, I received a deck of tarot cards and a Teddie punching bag.

... I didn't preorder this, though. I normally bought it today.

They are also in first-run print copies. That tends to usually happen with Atlus' products.

I think the other half of the tarot cards are also in the basic run of Persona Q. Would need to double check that.

But seriously I like Junpei and Yosuke.

And I just like Junpei more than Yosuke. Mostly because all that fan art with Yu gets really annoying.
