So you wouldn't have a problem if I assigned you to be one of the people who are going to figure out what's going on with these spikes in magical activity, would you Dinah?

Dinah: No, but I have little knowledge of magic.

Samus: That's fine. We have plenty of people who know magic. I'm more concerned about there being a repeat of these german-speaking soldiers. Because they might have more than just the tanks we saw there, and we'll need the manpower to handle it.

Dinah: If you want me to defend them, I shall.

Samus: That would be ideal.

Dinah: Very well. I will.

*meanwhile, in a slightly less plot-oriented area... a young green-clad woman who might be familiar to some◊ is waving goodbye to a friend she's visiting, and an unrelated woman clad in dark colored clothing◊ is looking a little... confused as to where she is and why she's here*

I'm back!

-Either of the two girls might notice a a huge dragon by the name of Titania flying in the air-

*the green-clad girl notices, and waves*

*The other girl just watches, not wanting to draw too much attention just yet*

-Titania looks down and notices the waving girl-

-she flies down and carefully lands on the ground-

Titania: Oh hello there. -waves- Are you new around here?

Jennifer: Oh, I'm not really local, just happened to be visiting some friends in the area. *She smiles*

*the other girl is still sort of watching from a distance, looking a little... surprised?*

Titania: Ah, I see. Well welcome to Whiterun! I'm actually not from around here, either. Though this place does have a fair number of dragons, so it does remind me of home in that sense.

Jennifer: I've noticed that, yeah. And thanks!

*the other girl steps forward* This does seem like an... interesting place, to say the least. Perhaps whoever set up that random portal was on to something.

-speaking of shock returns-

A young boy in victorian inventor gear is being taught fighting moves by a known na.....err all american superhero-

Titania: Portals, you say? I suppose that would explain how you ended up here.

Oh, right. My name is Titania.

*The dark-haired girl nods* Ah. I'm Jocelyn, by the way. Do you happen to know if there's an hotel or inn or any sort of place to spend the night around here?

-Titania nods and points to a rustic looking inn-

Titania: This place always seems to have room for one more.

Jocelyn: This should do. Thank you. *She smiles faintly and heads inside*

*Jennifer heads back to wherever she's staying tonight*

I should be around more tomorrow but now I need sleep. 'Night!

-Crystal is currently studying some of the local fauna outside Whiterun-

Crystal: Hm? Hey Chuck.

Chuck: "Oh, hey Crystal. What're you doing out here?"

Crystal: Studying the local fauna. This place has some rather interesting specimens.

Chuck: "Like the giant, fire-breathing dragons?"
