-She then notices the daemon weapon coming to life...then fires an ice missile at it-

-Momo is now very much looking frightened as she dodges...by way of doing actual dance moves that let her dodge the flaming tentacles. I mean...he did say dance, so-

~assuming Bcom is okay with it, Roger tries to sneak up on the Chaos Lord, having gone mostly unnoticed throughout the fight and seeing this as his chance~

Abel: -to Fio- Takes more mana to actually show what's being done. Usually it's worth it, though.

Mina also fires off a few bursts from her rifle at the Chaos Chainsword.

Nagishiro: <Demon blade! Demon Blade!>

-The once confident fox girl is now attempting to avoid the blade by running around the room, still armed with what amounts to a stick now-

-roger does indeed sneak up on the chaos lord, who is too distracted trying to escape with his loot. what does he do with his advantage?-

-The tentacle marine laughs a lot, evidently enjoying the show momo is putting on before having his tentacles descend on her from every direction-

-with hrodland, his kick does indeed knock the sonic blaster away, but it ends up intercepting the bullet six fired, saving the chaos marine's life. Meanwhile the one still grasping onto the halberd to keep Hrodland from cleaving his head in two kicks the dragon man in the leg to knock him off balance-

-the chainsword meanwhile proceeds to pursue the fox girl before samus freezes it in ice and the bullets from Mina's rifle shatter it-

Six: [Reloading!]

-Hops behind some cover and switches the magazines in her sniper rifle-

Cadia - Strixus Prime

-Samus looks at Nagishiro. She makes some kind of motion to inquire if she's okay, due to the language barrier-

-Momo is surely doomed, considering all those tentacles descending upon her en masse-

-...But a single stunning flash of competence streaks across the rabbit girl's face as she grabs one of the tentacles, then another, and starts forcibly tying them together despite it burning her hands. And then she does this to another pair of tentacles. And another. Her hands move as rapidly as possible to neutralize them by tying them all into a massive tangled knot with the speed of the north star-

Hrodland: -Feeling the kick trying to unbalance him, he elects to jump for an elbow drop onto the marine-

Mina taps Samus on the pauldron. "We gotta kill that Cultist," she said. She cocked her rifle and fired off four bursts at the tentacle marine.

Roger: ~considers stabbing the Chaos Lord for a moment, but then remembers what happened not too long ago when he tried to attack one of these armored fuckers directly~

~so instead, the Pirate King ponders for a moment, inspects the Chaos Lord carefully, crouches down, and...~

Roger: >_>

~grabs him by his leg, trying to lift him up and flip him over~

Abel: There we go.

-Abel goes and counts out the solenoids with his staff. All told, there's 24 of them-

-12 on top, 12 on bottom, and 12 to each side-

-It's surprisingly compact-

-He begins physically placing bullets into the space between them-

Chaos Lord: WHO, WHAT, WHE-

-before he can finish, the chaos lord is on his face. Roger sure as hell couldn't lift him, but he did manage to pull the lord's leg out from underneath him and make the marine faceplant-

-meanwhile well, to say that the tentacle marine is confused by the situation is an understatement-

Tentacle marine: why do you do that to my love arms D: I only wanted to hold you in my tentacle'd embrace.

-Hrodland manages to elbow drop and disorient chaos space marine #1, but the second one is getting up now and does not look particularly happy-

-As Six leans out of cover she notes the perfect opportunity to run damage control-

-She sights in her sniper rifle, and attempts to shoot the Chaos Lord in the head-

Strixus Prime

Hrodland: Coming back for you later!

-gets back up, halberd in hand, stepping away from the downed marine while facing the other one-

-Nagishiro nods, discarding the sick to her side, and drawing her katana-

-Well guys, what do?-

Mina thinks about what the tentacle marine says.

"No."

She continues firing her gun at it, pausing only to discard a magazine and slap in a new one in a calm and practiced maneuver.

Abel: How do you open the doors? There a lever?

-And then she responds by punching the guy with the force of a dynamite explosion-

-Samus points Nagishiro to the Chaos Lord, then nods to Mina and shoots at the tentacled- chaos marine-

-Fiorello does something super strangely...mundane-

-He opens his phone and starts tweeting at Demon Santa something-

Chaos Lord: damn you corpse worsh-

-the chaos lord catches a bullet to the face courtesies of six, blowing off his lower jaw but not killing him completely.-

-the tentacle marine pretty much just explodes from the combined attacks, causing a scene gross enough that even the chaos marines pause in a moment of disgust-

-now's a good opening-
