~Mist manages to avoid the punch very closely, she can see that Kryp's fist is still able to hit some of her hair, which just... disintegrates upon contact~

Stairs

~the Ghosts try to prevent the group from advancing, not with actual force but by somewhat gently nudging them back down the stairs~

~Ges enters the hole, and it is once again so dark that he can't see a thing~

~man, this takes a looooong time~

Aaaaaaaaaaaand we gotta stop here because it's 2 AM for me and I really gotta go to bed. Plot action will resume tomorrow, sorry. >_<

-Zos lets the ghosts think it'll go on for a second-

-Then applies boost with full power and attempts to surge past the ghosts and up the stairs-

-Mist uses this breif delay to start rapidly trying to stabity with her combat knife-

-Chrysalis is still following Ges up the hole, hoping there is actually a top to this thing-

Kryp: ~is stabbed and keels over~

~congrats Marcia, you just caught a Ghastly! :D~

~and wow, Zos actually manages to get past the ghosts and is now on an unblocked path upwards~

~after what seems like an eternity if flight, strange markings depicting various moon phases appear on the sides of the shaft that the group is currently ascending~

Ges: hmmmmm, this just gets better and better

-he pulls out the two moon pendants and continues moving up the shaft-

-Zos keeps boosting and surges up the stairs, its Helix still in deconstruct mode, and ready for action-

Igno: -continues onwards, looking down-

(@Ghosts) ... Look, I don't have anything against you, I've just got to go upstairs to deal with whoever... Desacrated this place. -sighs-

Chrysalis: There must be some sort of reality folding going on here, this is getting ridiculous!

(Marcia throws another Pokeball at another Ghastly. This one's gonna be a gift for a friend of hers.)

-Sighs, and rolls away, her fur reverting to black-

~this time, the party manages to pass by the ghosts (and Marcia catches another Ghastly) and eventually reaches the large room below the roof~

~as mentioned before, it is a massive, single room with a weird, circular sign painted on the floor in the middle~

~currently, there's a corpse that has been crushed by the falling debris from the roof at the edge of the circle, the corpse of Kryp whom Mist just stabbed ded, Mist herself, on the floor not too far away from teh guy she killed, two robed cultists in the middle of the circle wrestling with each other over a knife, and another cultist standing at the far side of the chamber, kneeling at the edge of the circle and chanting something~

~eventually, the group emerges under a pitch-black sky, only illuminated by an unusually dark full moon, at the top of a tower overlooking a wasteland~
