I'm a Spoiler Hound.

I just can't resist them.

It's fun to see how you get there any way.

I've spoilered myself before (mainly because I never expected to ever get the chance to ever play them), but I... can't remember what was Innocent Sin and what was Eternal Punishment, so I can't actually read the opening well after all.

I never expected to be able to play Persona 2, so I spoiled a bit of it for myself. Luckily, I don't remember much. I completely spoiled Persona 3 for myself, which I still regret. I'm working hard not to spoil Persona 4 for myself, though I do know one of the characters who die.

I'm fortunate then. By the time I cared about Persona 2, the patch was out, so I knew I'd play it eventually. I was spoiled on some key elements in P3 and 4, but not all the main secrets, so it could have been worse. For P2, the game pictures of the psp version spoiled one relatively small aspect, but other than that I fairly safe.

Suggestions on whether I play the english patch first?

Hmm, well it's very likely that we'll be getting this version, so if the rumor's that the psp version will have both the old and a new soundtrack are true (we should spread it to make it come true guys tongue), I see little reason to play the psx version, at least at first. It can be interesting so you can see how the localizations differ between Translator Tom and the Atlus team, but you can use the wait time to play another Megaten game instead ;)

I'm playing through it, but that's because I don't have a PSP and I had started my attempt before the port was announced.

I've got the original and 4 to tide me over I guess.

Time for grinding!

I love Innocent Sin's battle theme. So the soundtrack choice better be true. Though I would like to hear what Meguro comes up with too.

... unless the original soundtrack turns out to be an unlockable.

EDIT: Question, why are these guys mentioned on the official website? Have they only recently bought Atlus?

[up] There have been screens around about how hitler is changed a bit in the japanese version which should get it passed the US Moral Guardians.

Well that's the difference. Shades Hitler is a cool hitler; he doesn't have to try to be in, he's already in and he'll always be in. Hipster Hitler tries way to hard with, like, everything he does.

On topic, though, this is great. I cannot wait to hear who they have for the dub voices and what they do with Eikichi.
