Persona 2 Innocent Sin coming to PSP

A thread has already been made, kinda. It seems broken though, having no posts and -1 pages it seems. So yeah, that's happening. It's only confirmed for Japan but perhaps that can change. Only time will tell. I would not mind PSP Hitler in English, personally.

Oh, and here's the opening video.

Now, if that other topic is actually perfectly fine and I'm just crazy, I guess I wouldn't mind someone locking or deleting this one.

No no, I made that topic and it broke. <.< So I just kinda scooted away from it and pretended it never happened. Second time I made something that decided to have -1 pages. TVTROPES HATES ME. [lol]

I swear if Innocent Sin doesn't make it over here I'm going to go to Atlus of America's HQ and chew on it. ...won't make a lick of difference, but it's the intent behind it that matters.

Wow. That was trippy and exhilarating. The game is probably too scary for me, but I must have it anyway. Also, I like this opening better than the P 3 P one. It makes more sense, though the two are equally trippy.

Apparently it is one of those openings that is absolutely filled with spoilers that you wouldn't understand without either analysis or having played the game. So I wouldn't analyze too much.

I like those. They're fun to analyze afterwards.

Every time I get plot development in Persona3 I kick myself for having spoiled the whole thing for myself.

They better sell it in English in North America. Otherwise I will be sad.

Most glorious news indeed.

I'm also digging the that they have a change soundtrack option for this remake because the original IS music is pretty awesome. Can't wait to hear Meguro's arranges though.

I spread my wings, fly away. The wind sweeps me off my feet, blowing me away yeah. Trees whispering to me. I'm feeling free now.

It also means there's less for people to complain about...although lets face it. People are bound to find something to baww about with this game, just give it time.

I predict this won't come out in Europe. Nevertheless, I did eventually manage to obtain Persona 3 Portable, and I'm hoping to do the same with this. And I've never played P2 before, so that gives me more incentive to get it.

Estimated shipping time: 2-4 weeks.

I'm betting it'll get a US one because the original Persona remake got over here not long after Japan got it.

But... Hitler makes it a little less likely Europe will get it, seeing how the PAL regions censored a ton of Nazi stuff in actual WWII games.

Much less Hitler using religious objects as world-ending weapons. [lol]

I don't think that will do much, Shin Megaten III got through with the subtitle Lucifer's Call.

It's obvious Atlus Europe has no qualms involving religion-y stuff.

There is no Atlus Europe. Hence us missing out on quite a few Mega Ten games.

Yay! It's a good time to be a Mega Ten fan!

And a bad time to not have a lot of free time.

This makes me wish I had a PSP instead of a DS. sad

First Persona 3, than this.. I really hope they don't remake Persona 4 for the PSP after this.

WRONG

First Persona, then Persona 3, then this.

And a P4 remake is inevitable.

INEVITABLE

Also, in the process of downloading SMT: Persona for my PSP.

"This makes me wish I had a PSP instead of a DS."

Hey, don't forget, the DS has been the home of all the NEW Megaten games that america has gotten on portables. The PSP has the Persona's which of course are very fun, but the DS got Devil Survivor and Strange Journey, which are also great games. In fact, in terms of demons collection+fusion, the ds games did it the best out of the entire series imo. Devil Survivor lets you pick and choose what moves to fuse, and SJ's demon collection aspects is just incredibly fun, where I'd never used the demonic compendium more than I have in SJ.

Although it is a bit unfair for me to call the PSP's persona games "not new" P1 came to america but most megaten games haven't played the PSX version, which also has translation issues and no Snow Queen Quest. And the translation of Innocent Sin is very good, but not everyone is aware of it, or they may be unable or unwilling to emulate.

We got any guesses for a release date yet?

Also, any info on whether the battle animations will be brought up to P3P standards, or will they be of a similar quality?

Also, having watched the opening after reading spoilers. I suddenly got it.

IT ALL MAKES SENSE.
