"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"Mage is the GM where I play that Twilight
Why not Mage?

"You can reply to this Message!"It's a funny thought, but there could theoretically be degree levels that require an occult rating higher than 5 that nobody ever bothered to invent but totally could have if they tried.
Although Autochonian tech is actually closer to shogunate stuff than first age. Tech-wise, anyway, I imagine the actuall aesthetics have diverged considerably.
I've long had the headcanon that Autochonian alchemical flame weapons look like rayguns due to being lightning based instead of fire.

Hah. I had the same idea too: Lightning analogue to flame guns. Along with an appropriately changed Golden Exhalation Style.
Could also potentially have a variant of the fire pearl, although it might have to be made of orichalcum instead of red jade.
Lightning is included in Creation's Air aka Blue Jade.

True, I forgot about that.
Thinking about it you can look at each Autochthonian element as the combination of certain aspects of two Gaian ones. Steam is fire and water, oil is water and wood, smoke is fire and air, crystal is wood and earth, and lightning is air and apparently earth because that was the only one I hadn't used twice.
Metal is all of them because it's associated with the jade caste in general.
Metal = Earth + Fire
Lightning = Water + Air
Ok, so because I happened to have wonders of the lost age open I was reading the Prosthetics of Clockwork Elegance and it struck me that the 21 bonus points a heroic mortal gets is exactly how much you need to begin play as a master Thaumaturge with awakened essence and a prosthetic arm and leg.
BTW if my spelling appears to have worsened lately it's because my spellchecker on chrome has stopped working for some reason.

His limit break is getting called short?
"You can reply to this Message!"Well, he'd be mortal, so he's not got one.
No, he totally has one. Somehow.
probably by doing some thaumaturgic ritual and pissing of the neverborn.
"You can reply to this Message!"If someone ever does this can they please post a link to a copy of the campagne?
Fate Grand Order players will know me as Ryusei-Go.Hmm, i was in the bus and had an Idea for applying Righteous Devil Style for an Abyssal/Infernal Exalted.
Basically, its a "Evil Twin" Style: Terrorizing Demon Style
If the Righteous Devil Style is the guy coming into a western town to free it from a bad guy, Terrorizing Demon Style is the bad gunslinger who the RDS will ultimately face at high noon in a duel.
Essentially most charms of RDS would copied into TDS with "evil" fluff to mirror the RDS.
For example, the Righteous Devil Form is described as:
"He exerts an inescapable gravity and a withering unease that sends the innocent scurrying away and calls the unjust to reap the consequences of their deeds."
Terrorizing Demon Form would be:
"He exerts an inescapable gravity and a withering terror that scares the innocents into submission and emboldens the unjust in his dark wake."
while the mechanics are the same
This leaves:
BLESSING OF RIGHTEOUS SOLAR SPARK MEDITATION, a Holy Keyword charm. Replace with:
BLACKENING OF THE UNBLEMISHED CREATION MEDITATION
Which is basically the same as the normal charm but instead of "does Aggravated to Creatures of Darkness" it could:
- Only works on Solars/RDS users. -
Abyssals: Work like being hit with a Soulsteel weapon and draw some motes from the target
Infernals: Invoking the Rage of Malfeas, the fire turns Demon-green, turning the weapon into a /2 Overwhelming for the attack.
AZURE ABACUS MEDITATION, is more of a "sounds like a good thing to modify to fit better" thing. Replace with:
BROKEN ABACUS MEDITATION
Works the same as Azure Abacus, but if the target dies from this charm instead of getting shot right into his next incarnation:
Abyssal: The Target's soul is dragged into Oblivion, being obliterated with no trace remaining.
Infernal: The Target's soul is sent directly into Malfeas, to the Yozi Patron of the Infernal, to be done as he pleases with.
Its just thoughts play, nothing more

"You can reply to this Message!"Mirror charms are bad and a Mirror martial arts is bad too.
Actually what is the rule for Holy martial arts charms that are prerequisites of non-holy MA charms as far as creatures of darkness go? The Fiend anima power lets you buy holy charms if they're a prerequisite for another one, but you just can't use them. I would presume the Moonshadow one works the same and I don't really see any reason not to extend the same rule to martial arts. So really if it were my game I'd just say that they could learn Righteous Devil Style proper with a few unuseable charms and proably a new name.
You know, I've grown kind of sweet on Half-Castes and the stuff from Scroll Of Heroes. Sure it might not be the greatest splat out there, but it's a valiant effort to do something that Exalted sorely needs: and that is show that power isn't utterly concentrated in the hands of the elite Chosen few.
I think part of what helps with that is that Half-Castes in particular come across more on the tier of Ghost Bloods/God Bloods (and in fact ave a smaller Essence Pool then either) and that in general the fluff for the Half-breeds in Scroll of Heroes is really well done.
"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"Mmmm, I heard that Half-Castes were going out the window in 3e. Lemme see if I can find a relevant quote.
EDIT:
Q: Are the children of the Exalted and humans/weird creatures still endowed with some kind of power? (Asmodai)
A: Yes. (John Mørke)
Nevermind then.

I think they're keeping at least some of the concept, but changing the mechanics.
Personally, I'd keep it for mortals and say an exalt can use any degree they have an occult score high enough to purchase.
