Well, Peach is insane.
One Strip! One Strip! The only Mario franchise game I like is the one in which Peach skewers goombas on her umbrella and feeds them to it, not even in order to heal or something but just to make herself feel better. She continues wielding that monster even despite it trying to eat her if she is too negligent in feeding it with others.
We're talking about a woman for whom a plumber and a dragon-turtle wage elaborate gladiator wars every week to decide whose house she's crashing at for the weekend - and who is honestly uncertain as to whether she ever gave birth to a baby dragon-turtle at some point during all these shenanigans. Peach left insanity behind a few crazies ago.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Oh yeah, I forgot about that.
"You're my mama!"
"I am?"
The thing is that if Peach didn't sound like such a ditz in the game, (1920s secretary on helium is not a dignified voice) that wouldn't be such a weird response. Especially if it was in a tone of voice that was more like "What?" But all the voice acting is kind of weird in Super Mario Sunshine so...
Not Three Laws compliant....Don't babies in the Mario series all actually come from the Stork?
The thing about that is that nobody ever really thinks to question where the Stork comes from. Or where it gets the babies.
Negative Reinforcement You know, it's the kind of thing that makes perfect sense while playing, but not quite as much when you look at it from a different perspective.
Though I suppose pretty much all video games have such mechanics, which is why we have so many gaming webcomics in the first place.
I never noticed Ridley was wearing a tie the first time I read that.
One Strip! One Strip! It would explain why Wolf made the cut and Andross didn't.
Theology is a little bit messed-up in Smash Bros., innit.
(And this is before we bring Xenoblade into contention...)
Moon◊Marth no that's racist
I have a message from another time...They could also use Robin, to get a direct line to their daddy.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.^^Its kinda hilarious(and pretty nice of him I guess) how Ike isn't arguing about religion in the panel, but about how Marth shouldn't call Fox sub-human Not that it doesn't make sense considering how Fire Emblem 9 & 10 are pretty much mostly about racism, but still

I like Pikachu randomly appearing in the corner with a picture of Arceus.
One Strip! One Strip! Also: Ike, you're right in that there were 2. But you're the reason that's a "were", not an "are".
Also also: "PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA"
I have a message from another time...Then Palutena shows up and everyone just gets quiet.
Sorta hard to argue that yours is the one true faith when a living contradiction is just hanging around.
Then Rosalina and Shulk show up and make things even more confusing.
I have a message from another time...Don't even get me started on Link who's a technical reincarnation, very Buddhist.
And then there's Zelda herself. Her family's divine right to rule is more like nepotism than religion.
I have a message from another time...Hell, Zelda herself is a reincarnation of the reincarnation of a Goddess (or at least a direct relation) so when you think about it, she should be saying that all gods possibly exist, instead of arguing that the Triforce Goddesses are the only game in town.
One Strip! One Strip!
Ouch.
Just ouch.
