Jsut cleared all of Goukuma and X-23's buttcrack's missions. Then I cleared all of Erik Magnus Lehnsherr's for the fun of it.

I don't have the patience nor the skill to finish more than the first three or four of everyone's missions. The more I think about it, the more I wish this game (or Ultimate) had a Story Mode though. Not just because it would be awesome, but because it would add a lot more meat to the game, and I also like having a definitive point where I can say I've "beaten" a game, but that's just me.

Why does a fighting game need a story mode? Besides, they never said the first one would have one.
What's important is the fighting and hardcore fighting game fans never really care for the story, just the fighting.
Role Model
As a hardcore fighting game fan, I stopped caring about Soul Calibur at the point when the story became stupid (midway through 3). Same for Mortal Kombat (from 4 through Armageddon/DC).
I enjoy well done fighting games either with a good plot or a good attempt at trying one. I like story.

As much fun as I have playing this game, there's only so much you can do before the experience starts to feel... stale. Unfortunately, I doubt that Ultimate will remedy any of these, aside of new dialogue and endings.
