If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.

Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

It was ridiculous anyway for “scientists” to think we could find water in outer space. Outer space is a vacuum, and water is a thing.

Someone should show him all the animals that have died from the oil spill. Or something. Anything...

Or fuck, the planets.

How is "...and water is a thing" not amusing?

We have a word for this: Bullshit (I am using the term not in its derogatory sense, but in its technical sense, as extensively defined by Cambridge Professor Harry G. Frankfurt in his book by the same title.)

Aha. Ahahaha. AHAHAHAHAHA!

Think about it. Think about things that move. Is light one of those things? Yes. Can you move? Yes. Can you catch up to things? Yes. Is light a thing? Yes. Then you can therefore catch up to light, by the transitive property.

LOGIC!

Oil is very good for you. If you eat enough of it you'll actually become younger. No wonder it's worth so much.

I would dispute the application of Godwin’s Law to my post. I was not using the name “Hitler” in a polemical sense, but in a historical sense. Moreover I was mentioning him in a rare positive way, not a negative way.

Water can and has been found "in space" i.e. not on Earth because it's a damn common thing to happen when you have hydrogen and oxygen together in any environment. The vacuum isn't made of nothingness either, there's matter in there. It's just sparse. True vacuum is impossible.

The oil spill isn't a natural phenomenon and it is killing things. It may destroy the livelihoods of millions of people due to ecological destruction. BP has proven soundly that the Bush administration was fucking idiotic for removing the restrictions on drilling deeper than you can fix things if you screw up.

This guy needs to learn that alcohol abuse is not a substitute for actually learning shit and that spouting nonsense of this caliber just makes people who actually know things want to correct you... as in remove your ability to type or speak or otherwise spout such cognitive poison into the air.

Some people think that the Chinese language was actually put here by aliens, and that the real reason I can’t understand it is because aliens are by definition superior and more complex than humans. I find this an admirable explanation, and it would also help explain the Great Wall of China, which serves no identifiable human purpose.

wild mass guess
