Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...It's a good thing my computer isn't visible to anyone who just walks in the room. I don't want to explain why I'm googling 19th century racial slurs, innocent as the reason may be.

"Did you expect somebody else?"Parable how is it that you're such a weeb?
A weeb who knows a lot about Abraham Lincoln?
Apparently I imagined my memories about an entire game being released. I could have sworn there was a Wario & Waluigi title released for the Wii. I remember advertising, the cover, and everything, but apparently it doesn't exist and has never existed.
How did my memory just spontaneously make that up?

Because if I had my way all Americans would be required to learn the Gettysburg Address and Second Inaugural by heart and people around the world would be encouraged to learn their meanings.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimWell, there's at least one Wario Ware game for the Wii. As far as I know, Waluigi has only appeared in the Go-Karting with Bowser derivative games.

-hums to herself-
My high school public speaking class had an assignment where we had to restate the Gettysburg Address. One of my classmates was restating it extremely literally and wanted to list the "our fathers" by name. Only she didn't know all the names, so some of us had some fun with her. "Eighty-seven years ago, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton, Martin Luther King, and Ronald Reagan created in North America a new country..."

"Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy."So I got an idea for a YA novel.
On the process, I came up with a love interest. The main character is a 13 year old boy...but she is 16 year old girl who's taller than him and stronger than him in both body and mind. She's also very fierce and can be commanding at times (in terms of personality, well, she's pretty much this guy, the one wearing hat).
Provided that there is nothing inappropriate going on, I wouldn't mind that kind of couple in real life.
The thing is, would the target audience like that? As long as I keep the writing nuanced, I can imagine girls would like her, but guys? I'm not too sure. Well, she's pretty tall (175cm, which I assume is pretty tall for a girl) and attractive, so there's that.
