If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.

Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

Long haired lover from liver pool by Jimmy Osmond.

Seeing all these piss ant tropers trying to talk tough makes me laugh. If Matrix were here, he'd laugh too.

Wait, what?

Looks fine (as good as possible, anyway) on my end on mobile. Not sure about online, but downloading the .PDF should work.

Be warned though: that draft is horse crap and I'm rewriting it again from the ground up so it'll make sense. Same is the case with E2.

Most people here probably don't know what a pager is already. But so they didn't years before. Pager never really became popular in Germany.

My first contact with a pager was in the first GTA. I don't think I ever saw one in real life.

My father used to have one.

Two, actually. His first one was the numeric kind, that just shows the number of whoever is calling. Then he had the alphanumeric kind that could get SMS messages. My mother would always go onto the provider's website and send him grocery lists and such.

Conclusion: Polynesians are the other vikings.

The comparison is based on their seafaring skills, which took them out to places as far as Hawaii and Madagascar.

I'm not sure how much raiding they did, though. I only know the extent of their exploits (be they violent or non-violent), which is directly indicated by the spread of the language family, since, after all, I learned this from a linguistics textbook and not a history book on the Polynesians.

Apparently in at least one of the cultures in the language family (I think like southern indonesia) it was a rite of initiation for young men to go out and seek land by boat.

Oh, by the way, Egyptian hieroglyphics are fucking impossible. I spent like a good ten minutes trying to compare a photo of kings' names with a collection of hieroglyphs on the next page and was unable to put them together.

>Linguistics class: Do a whole half-semester devoted to the study and deciphering of Egyptian hieroglyphics

Probably. They could have very well been the first settlers of especially the more outlying islands, though.

Speaking of what immediately came before, I had my first instance of genuine nightmare fuel today. o__o

Now debating with myself whether I should bomb into my biology textbook or just return to reading Contact.

I highly doubt I'll have enough time to finish the textbook by the time class starts considering its size.

There's also my calculus textbook, but for the most part math textbooks don't make very good reading material.
