Another sign of how crazy the store I work at is. 
One moment, the loudspeakers were playing a very sweet and romantic love song (one of my favorites, actually: “Halo” by Beyoncé 
), and the next one that played was what sounded like a breakup song.

The phrase "half an eternity" is a guilty pleasure for me. Mathematically speaking, it doesn't make sense — if you cut an infinity in half, the resulting infinities will have the same cardinality (size) as the old one. (For instance, both the set of natural numbers and the set of all integers have cardinality aleph-zero

I need to avoid some commentary channels and streamers. The casual use of the 'R' slur from some streamers feels very disconcerting.
