I like Belkar.
Fight smart, not fair. The Apprentice gets my vote, especially with what he can do once his force powers are fully enhanced by the endgame.
I like the Apprentice better. Belkar has possibly more obviously defeated an army by himself, but the Apprentice looks way cooler (and the image won't be mistaken for maybe being about sexiness or barefootedness), and he is defeating storm troopers who are obviously soldiers in an army.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I like Belkar better. The other one makes it harder to tell what's going on. Also, three people vs. a mountain of bodies is an easy call.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickA version of the Belkar pic is already up on Heroic Sociopath. It might be better-suited for this page, though.
What's precedent ever done for us?I vote for Belkar as well.
I swapped your version of Belkar for the one on Heroic Sociopath. I think it fits over there better anyway.
Fight smart, not fair. How about this?

We can do better, indeed.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Better. The more bodies around the better the image works. That one has at least 6-8 from what I can tell and they don't even all fit in the shot.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI think Belkar works better.
Voting the Equilibrium pic. The RAR RAR IM BADASS dialogue just seems really trite on the Belkar one, imo.
I like the Equilibrium one more; the picture feels more effective with actual people as opposed to a drawing.
Reaction Image RepositoryOf the three proposed, I like the Star Wars one the most. But even still, yeah, there could be a better one.
The best possible image would probably be one of one guy in the process of taking down multiple enemies charging at him.
Yeah, we can do better. I think the Belkar one is unnecessary and might even be a little confusing - for all we know, he amassed that pile of dead guys over the course of decades and killed them all by cowardly means like poison.
Grr. Argh.The Pope
King Tyrant Lizard:
There are two knives in that picture, and Belkar is holding both of them. They aren't stuck in anybody and those scrapes could be anything. The other blades are those guys' swords.
Grr. Argh.How about:
- Captain America punching Nazis? (Yeah, and Bucky too, which admittedly weakens the "one man" part.)
- Captain America punching the Hordes of Hydra?
- Captain America establishing a one-man beachhead (on his way to Berlin?)◊
The problem with that picture is that he doesn't even look much like he's fighting, let alone taking on an army and winning, and a picture that relies on a listed KO count is pretty pointless to replace what's already up there.
I guess I should go hunting for a shot of someone sending 50 guys flying and with a high KO count.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!There's got to be at least one decent pic of Wolverine mowing down baddies somewhere...
I think this would be good.◊ Or if not this, whenever it's done in the anime.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
The current picture is just a kill count, which, though it fits the trope, isn't very interesting to look at. I'm pretty sure we can find a clear picture of someone actually being a One-Man Army, no?
A couple of possibilities:
And, of course...
