Rio is enough like a Disney movie to qualify.
I'm not sure about them doing an Egypt story, because unless we get someone who actually wants to have Shown Their Work we're probably going to get the same tired versions of Egypt we've gotten for the past many, many decades.
At least with some other places you don't have quite the "go-to quality" for their stereotypical settings, Egypt's "Rome With Pyramids" setting is extremely saturated.

Now a traditional myth from the Australia area, that'd be most interesting... I hadn't thought of that...
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I was tempted to pick that, but The Rescuers Down Under kinda made me want to pick something further afield.

You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Somebody said Jamaica already where they'd like to see a Disneyfication of the story of Annie Palmer, the White Witch of Rose Hall. I totally agree! I want to see something like that too!
