One of these two has their priorities straight. I'll leave it to you to decide which.
I didn't write any of that.I'm not so sure it's "priorities" as it is "resignation to fate."
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. For once, I'm siding with Jabby.
I didn't write any of that.Oh, you thought "washing his hair" was a lame excuse...
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster."Wezzle, I can tell you're faking. You clearly built up an immunity, just like Dmitri."
I didn't write any of that.Wezzle really could have probably gotten Jabby to go that way simply by saying "Oh, going this way would be faster." That said, Wezzle is probably way to stressed at this point to think straight.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. In Jabby's defense (sort of), killing all or most of the Gounder's organization does improve the chances that Gounder's death will have a real impact. Makes it less likely that someone else will just take Gounder's place in the criminal empire and everything will be back to status quo in a few weeks.
Anyway, new strip. Jabby clearly isn't thinking about what I just said, because he clearly isn't thinking ahead at all.

I didn't write any of that. The flip side to that "defense" of Jabby's actions is that it'd probably be easier to take out the Gounder's organization if it became a Decapitated Army - bypass the defenses, destroy the controller of said defenses, and then hit the defenses where they don't expect to be hit.
For the subsequent comics... well, I guess it's pretty solidly established by now that "thinking things through" is not Jabby's strong point.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Completely unrelated to the new page: I wonder if Jabby has any weapons that pack enough recoil that he could propel himself (and Mauricio) out of this pit just by shooting down.
I didn't write any of that."I'm the gun, and I call the shots."
What's great is that I bet that was completely accidental on Jabby's part (and very intentional on the author's part).
As for Jabby and the possibility of recoil... I bet Jabby could effectively turn into a rocket in the right situation. That said, I bet the floor is made out of the same laser-reflective material, so maybe not the best move right this moment.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. And Christopher Baldwin reminded me that the pit has a ceiling, so that wouldn't work in this situation anyway.
I didn't write any of that. What's this? The most powerful being in this corner of the galaxy can't be goaded into a one-on-one fight that easily? What madness is this?
I didn't write any of that. One does not become a powerful villain by repeatedly doing stupid things, even when you think you can afford to do so.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. What I'm getting from this is that Mauricio is basically Wezzle's rebound relationship.
And this is why rebound dating is a bad idea.
I didn't write any of that."Because you invariably manipulate your new SO into avenging your ex and wind up trapped in a pit with a sapient, bloodthirsty gun."
"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."
If Jabby could make those other things, I bet it could make a sandwich too.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.
Yeah, I don't recall any LGBTQ representation in the previous version. So I can see why Baldwin would want to do better this time.
I didn't write any of that.
