So do I, except replace Texas with Utah.
Hatsune Miku. The Civ 4 theme song.
Now all we need is a whole Vocaloid choir with this.
Blog linkVocaloid mobile.
Still in Japanese and probably still expensive, but it's there.
How do you cure cheapness?
I'm certain this song may have been brought up in this thread once (since it was mentioned in the Vocaloid pages and one of the forumgoers of the Steven Universe thread had an avatar based on this song)
But I want to know what you guys think of the song

Very relatively old, but a song by Conchita's chef.
Makes her story sound not SO crazy.

Also a companion song to The Taylor Shop on Enbizaka.
It looks like the Master of the Heavenly Yard cut off Kayo's head? That doesn't seem very angelic.
Well I'll consider the series mostly over when The Master of the Heavenly Yard song is finally out.
Hi there, everyone!
I'm interested in getting Vocaloid, but the price tag is kinda putting me off. $108 dollars for the latest version of the editor plus ANOTHER $108 dollars for a compatible voicebank? Yikes.
So, any advice on getting the price down? And is there a good Vocaloid demo that has English vocals and doesn't require me to go through a registration sequence in Japanese? Thanks.
Likely busy writing something.Or a part-time job.

UTAU is free, but "lower quality" and hard to install. I still haven't figured it out yet.
Zero-G English Vocaloids are very cheap! Avanna costs only $70, and they frequently have sales. I forget if she has a demo though, she might well do.

Cyber Diva is the most recent English Vocaloid, but is more pricey. Heres her singing.

“Five exclamation marks, the sure sign of an insane mind.” TPI really wish Athena had a long version.
Cool song with Rin.

So the news is consistently depressing even in Japan?
Meanwhile, the more cynical fans are saying that this sounds less like an effort to Accentuate The Positive and more like something the Happiness and Peace of Mind Committee would put out.
No, that wasn't him. I'm just saying that a lot of people have apparently decided an effort to deliver good news sounds like brainwashing and propaganda.

did Mitche M even make the latter song though?
Side note. I think a Rushmore Refacement happened in the song.

Welcome to the modern world.
I see, there's a fine line between skepticism and paranoia
MysteryMan, you're not alone. I live in a country having a pretty big inflation right now, so actually purchasing a Vocaloid would be far too expensive to me - erring on 300+ bucks. No thanks.
But meh, I don't have an interest in actually purchasing them. I mostly like to listen to some from time to time. But that might be because I'm not too deep in the Vocaloid fandom - so far, the only Vocs I listened to and liked are IA(pictured in my avatar) and Gumi. Nevertheless, they're pretty awesome.

Sick of everything. You know what's a cool thing that happened? Powerfx (makers of Sweet Ann, Big Al, Oliver etc.) has revealed that if a group is able to run a successful Kickstarter for a Vocaloid, they would be willing to create and distribute that concept.

It's nice to see the industry becoming more open to indie developers.

“Five exclamation marks, the sure sign of an insane mind.” TPA Kickstarter Vocaloid? Interesting...well anything to get attention.
Well TIL Doom is particularly responsible for Vocaloid's popularity. tl;dr Dwango [Doom Wide-Area Network Game Organization] (who owns Nico Nico) started as an online service to play Doom over dialup (same Dwango as the Dwango maps.) They started Nico Nico, which was the video hosting service that lead to the spread of all the Vocaloid stuff and then left the Doom industry or something.

Remix of LUVORATORRRRRY! with a custom video.
Check out that guitar...and subtitles!
Sexy subtitles.
And while I'm here, some Divine Diva minus IA (and Meiko, I never forgive them for that...)
BIBIBIBIBIIIBIIBI.
And while I'm on a roll, a LAT model Miku video...
I haven't been watching much Vocaloid, but then it's pretty much the same ones who get all the great videos, like IA, Gumi, and eternally Miku.
I've started to like Miku more, but mostly because producers give her all of the attention anyway and it's hard finding good videos of the other ones.
If they gave Lola this much attention people might still remember that she existed once.
The Kagamines are way overdue for their update. I want to hear all the latest versions of the Cryptonloids singing together.
Possibly in English.
Maybe on stage.
Definitely in America.
Most preferably here in Texas.
