Team Fortress 2

I currently have my Demoman equipped with the Splendid Screen and the Ullapool Caber.

Just think about the sweet damage output the two would create.

Problem is that it's a one off, it's really only good for suicide runs.

One thing I wanna know is, how good is it for destroying a sentry?

(Assume the sentry doesn't pick you off before you can reach it.)

If it's not too late, I should get back into tryouts.

We are having FINALS this saturday at 3pm EST.

Critical hits don't factor against buildings.

More importantly, the pushback from a sentry would rapidly neutralize the momentum of the charge. You could take down a non-wrangled sentry below level 3 in one hit, but you're basically only going to get that one hit if you strike while it's facing away, in which case it would almost always be easier just to use a couple grenades.

So, not worth it, then?

Aargh. The game keeps on crashing on me.

...But not before I got a Scotsman's Skullcutter and a Dueling thingy.

Can someone tell me how those duels work???

And I will be participating as Engie...pretty much my main class.

You need a specific item to challenge people to duels (entitled Dueling Mini-Game ).

Wait, by finals, do you mean you're selecting the classes today?

Probably for the main Team we have another set of slots to fill for replacement players I think.

I've decided I wanna try out as a benchwarmer/backup, since I'm not sure about the time for matches but still want to help in case anyone can't make it...And don't worry, I've already posted on the group page. I just wanted to ask...aren't two official matches done already this season? And which division are we trying out for?

I've found out that Frying Pans (and Ellis Caps) are still being given to people for buying 'Left 4 Dead 2'', which explains why there's so damn many and thus makes my efforts rather impossible.

Hang on, the final tryouts are at 3 PM today? Aw man. See, I'm in an anime club and we... sort of have a marathon today. 12 to 12, you know. I may be able to step out for a while, but I don't want to leave for too long... How long are we expecting to go for?
