They sort of have that, it's called Redfort or something. I'm pretty sure RED wins most of the time by the sheer fact that it's harder to fight uphill.
Forget the tropes until after you're done.Y'know, in the back of my head I've been toying with a concept for a vertical map. Each control point would be in the same location, one floor higher/lower each time. There would also be glass ceilings/floors— from Point B you could see down into the Point A room and vice versa, etc. Between the points could be various stairways and ramps and multiple routes of ascent.

"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."What if the attacking Team worked down a tower. they start from the spawn point on the roof and work their way down and through the defenses of the enemy team.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.I think it'd be better to have it the other way around, lest everyone who isn't capturing the first point use open windows to drop down to the second too quickly.

I've find quite a useful bit of scripting for Snipers: it lets you change what fraction of your normal mouse sensitivity that you have when your zoom in.
Just type "zoom_sensitivity_ratio (fraction)" into the command console, which is you open by pressing `
I just crafted a second sticky jumper, so now I can afford to sell one of them to this desperate guy.
Yes. With this one guy giving me a Sharpened Lava Fragment and Sun-on-a-Stick for a scrap each I officially have every non-reskin weapon available. Until they add more, but I'd be happy if that happened anyway.
Man this hat is comfortable..I'm starting to understand why these guys are so obsessed with them. Scout, you are a man of wealth and taste.
:smug:Vanilla Scout Hat?
The Great Northern Threadkill.Yeah, the flatcap. Got it for my costume, along with the belt and some dogtags, at the army/navy surplus store. Now I know why the military uses these I guess.
:smug:Aie.
Now the truly important question that determines EVERYTHING.
...
RED or BLU?
The Great Northern Threadkill.Go BLU because Scouts are all about capping and offense.
Same reason I'm thinking of being a RED Engineer.
I have a message from another time...Thoug RED Scouts are a pest, too.

The Great Northern Threadkill....purple.
The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated.Naw, it's Orange spiders Scouts who are the worst to deal with.
I have a message from another time...Yeah, BLU because that's kind of the team for scouts. They're offensive ninjas.
:smug:Yeah, I guess that's the Archetype.
Though I find they are much, much more dangerous on Red since they generally have less sentries to deal with, and can roam around the map freely.
The Great Northern Threadkill. When I woke up and started this morning, I magically had a Soda Popper...and another Boston Basher.
And I don't remember seeing anything about new item drops.
Very surreal.
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY WEAPONS! ALL OF THEM!
The Great Northern Threadkill.Do you want one of those?
:smug:Neh, just saying that when life gives you Soda Poppers, you keep quiet and accept it.
The Great Northern Threadkill.Hm... I said that RED Engineers make sense because that's the defensive team, but some would say that they should be BLU because BLU is a building company...
I have a message from another time...If I were to cospplay, I would do Sniper w/Huntsman, Jarate and Tribalman's Shiv. Only problem would be where to keep it all.
Because I'm tall and I like the idea of wearing shades and a slouch hat.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.I'm pleased as punch and all...though I wish I weren't F 2 P. I seem unable to make any purchases, as well, so I can't change that.

Personal Record for Heavy: 35 Kills. No bots and no rtd/mods.
Was killed by a Demoman, Soldier and Medic, after storming the enemies base and protecting an engineer's nest in the far corner of dm_duelv3. While I was in the middle of a duel with the Engineer at the bottom of the base, that I was trying to fight up to.
One thing that they could possibly do for a small CP map is make it, instead of a large horizontal map, make it a small verticle based map, where the team has to push upwards in a warehouse and take over small chokepoints to get through.
Not sure if that would work out, but when I play Medic and help push BLU out of the RED base by slowly working my way up the towers and destroying the engineer's nest, and reach the top, it's an awesome feeling.
