^Same here. I main Engineer. That's pretty much the only comp where that class is played which is why I don't play comp.

Something random, but what would you guys say is a good Youtube channel for the different classes? (Demoknight can count as a seperate class as far as I'm concerned, but it doesn't have to be)

I know Uncle Dane for Engineer and Mr Paladin for Spy.

So the moral is never ask spies for dispensers or the game will crash.

I love how people still use G-Mod for vids. Something about the stopmotion-esque style found in the high quality ones is really endearing to me.

I'd really like to learn to make videos like those, but I don't have any good video editing software or the time to really sit down and master Gmod.

I've figured out how to pose the ragdolls well enough. I just suck at lighting, camera angles, and everything else.

G-Mod is way to hard for me to animate with. Source Filmmaker is way easier, and you can still do what G-Mod does without all the hassle of G-Mod.

But G-mod gives you more horrifying faces.

And the memetic memes that are still found today.

POOTIS BIRDS. They are the greatest of experiments.

I wonder if they'll get around to undoing the shitshow that was Tough Break's balance changed.

Nah, they'll just nerf the Pyro's weapons again, then give more hats to the Soldier.

And Grenades/Suits. As per usual.

Then in the comics/vids, they make Scout the Butt-Monkey. As per usual.

So, I got to play a couple rounds of competitive TF 2, and it's pretty good. It is so far restricted to 6v6s (except for one round where it was 6v5, for no reason). I started off pretty great, learning that I'm a pretty decent soldier in competitive, but after the 4th round (where my team actually won), I just got worse and worse.

Can't wait for 9v9s!

When in doubt, always play Demo.

When does Tough Break end, again? Haven't played in a while, hoping to do some contracts before it ends.

Well make it end. Because really, I'm starting to hate Valve's path for the game, turning it to TF:GO.

Other than that, they can go piss off if another "update" is a failure.

Support competitive, make more weapons and get someone who actually plays the game to balance the existing ones, and we're gold.

Too bad Valve won't do shit because Overwatch is coming. Much like Kill la Kill is an antithesis to Puella Madoka, Team Fortress 2 is history once Overwatch is released.

I think you and I have different definitions of the word "Proof".

Overwatch won't kill TF2. TF2 is constantly dying then being reborn. The F2P update made it bigger, when STAR_ and Jerma drifted off then a new generation of TF2 Youtubers emerged, and so on and so forth.

Couldn't care less about the pro. I see a ton of people of various levels of skill and cosmetics still. I've been around for six years now, people have been around ever since the game was released and it doesn't seem like it's going away yet.

Really, I can only hope that both TF 2 and Overwatch can make a friendly competition with their fanbases. I mean, both have a burly Russian with a two-handed gun and a German medic, for God's sake.

Mercy's Swiss. Which isn't any less stereotypical, mind you.
