Finally finished my backlog of contracts and got the Australium coin.

I really wonder what these are going to be used for, if anything.

Probably the same thing as the Mv M medals: an item to wear!

Or you can turn them in for super-rare cosmetics/ strange reskins.

I'm irked because my medal is missing two points. I always wait to submit the contract after I've gotten all the bonus points, but apparently it either glitched on me and didn't count the last two points on one of the contracts, or I submitted it early without noticing.

I REALLY hope they don't include some reward for having a perfect medal. If they do I'll be pissed.

The same thing happened to me. 2 short of Gold last week. Working on my final contract now

My last contract is a kill contract.

And boy howdy do I not remember it being this difficult.

Anyone know any good spots that'd be available for contract cheesing where I can rack up killstreaks with a minimal amount of effort and skill?

Preferably sentry spots that make people go "Man, that guy is a dick" for half an hour before they rage quit, because god knows I can't aim worth a damn.

Except, oddly, with soldier. I'm getting better at his BS ROCKETS OF "TOTALLY BALANCED AND NOT OP"

2Fort Sentries in the sewers? That always works for me when I need easy kills.

Go Demoman and just spam stickies everywhere.

Sentry in the middle of Turbine (park it between the turbines and the right shipping container) is my favorite kill farming place. Well (sentry parked right before the train traks) is for when I get board of Turbine.

Everytime I play Turbine I go for that spot or I go Sniper and start killing a bunch of peeps with mostly consistent headshots. I am honestly surprised how far I have come with that class but then again I have had this game for years.....

You know what I've found is fun on Turbine?

Build a sentry right behind the door leading upstairs to your spawn. Then use the blast door as a sort of barrier, opening it to fire on enemies and letting it close if your Sentry comes under fire. Ensures it can't get taken out easily by a Sniper or somesuch.

^I love doing that to start the match off with... and then move to the spot in the middle. Then I build a dispenser behind the middle turbine and a teleport behind the right shipping container...

I've had players on the opposite team ask me to move my sentry from there before. :P

I've made a career of destroying sentries in the middle of Turbine. If I didn't clear my Stickybomb Launcher/Rocket Launcher/Grenade Launcher/Sapper I'd probably have around 40 Buildings Destroyed on each.

For some reason cleaning a heavily infested Turbine area of enemy sentry nests feels way more rewarding than actually capping.

Just seeing your name on the kill feed with an annoying engie and all their buildings destroyed on the other side makes you feel so warm.

Good gravel I hate playing Sniper.

I really recommend using the Huntsman. I basically never play Sniper, so that's the only weapon I can consistently get headshots with. It really helps with the contracts.

I prefer finding nearly empty servers with friendly players who help me cheese my contracts.

True on the Huntsman (though I prefer the Fortified Compound reskin. Looks fancier). Being able to keep your field of view is a major boon.

Wish I'd gotten something better than a shitty Revolver skin that I already have one of for finishing the contract, though.

I don't play Sniper much at all (Usually becaue there's already two or three on the team), but I've found I've been able to fill those contracts pretty easily.

I don't try for master headshots on running Scouts, though. I've been able to fill the contracts just by keeping my eyes open for slower moving targets. Heavys firing their miniguns are easy targets. Zoomed in enemy snipers as well. Can be fun if they were looking right at you at the time.

Little trick I've learned is to hide your laser sight. Look for objects between you and the area you're scoping out, and keep your pointer on that, so the enemy won't see it.

Also surprised how people are recommending the Huntsman for easy headshots. I have a hell of a time hitting anything with the Huntsman, let alone noggins.

I have the opposite problem as well. I can play sniper really when it comes to using the sniper rifles. But I find myself having a really hard time headshotting people with the Huntsman. I would also recommend putting your laser dot on an area were and enemy will not see it before they walk into your line of sight. People who want to avoid being killed by snipers should keep an eye out for that dot.

I have gotten some pretty crazy kills before. Especially on scouts or rocket jumping soldiers and sticky jumping demos. The funny thing is I am so used to headshotting scouts and good players via adjusting to twitchy movement that I have a hard time shooting heavies or players that are very predictable.

I am also really good at scout (although it depends on the map). I am horrible at soldier and demo though. My Spy skills are meh, they used to be better. I can't play the class anymore due to how ridiculously frustrating it can get due to faulty hit registration (failstabs). I can't airblast as Pyro consistently either so I generally just use them to ambush people....

Nope. Other years' Halloween maps, but community-made cosmetics. I'm cool with it, never cared much for the Halloween gimmicks anyway.

Halloween 2014 was kinda lame anyway. I don't think they can top fighting Merasmus in 2012.

I hope they make the Necro Smasher and HHHH Strangifiers accessible again, though.

I just hope they go back to the gift system from 2012-2013. I don't know if pre-2012 was worse than 2014.

To my understanding it was awful. Shitloads of servers would just have scouts running everywhere trying to get the presents.

Nobody would play the game.
