My luck with rare drops continues. Got a Strange Australium Axtinguisher earlier. So of course the first thing I did was go on the marketplace and buy a professional kit for an axtinguisher.
I am happy. Also mildly tipsy, but that's unrelated.

Which was great until the nerf. I'm not entirely sure what specialized means, anyway. Does the weapon glow when I hit 5 kills?

Specialized makes the weapon sheen brighter and more frequent. Professional adds the sheen and the eye effect.

Pretty flower
Played a round of CTF in Sawmill. Put a tele in the enemy's pond. Had this exchange over team chat.
Me: I put a tele in their drink.
Ally 1: lol
Ally 2: Surprise buttsex.
Me: Um...no. Nothing got put up their stink, something got put in their drink. Their water.
Ally 2: Giggity.
Later on in the round, after like a 20 minute stalemate with 2-2 on the score I proved that I was the llama that could by, as an engy, running straight from my intel, all the way across the map, grabbing their intel, and making my way back to score.
Even later in the next round, after like 4 straight rounds of successfully defending the intel by myself, I found myself getting mobbed by 3 spies at the same time. The first spies I've seen all day! Well I killed them all and saved my sentry nest. Twice! But by the 3rd time I just threw my hands up, said over chat "Screw it, just take the damn sentry. It's too much work now." and just did the guitar taunt back to back. When the spy trio came by again they sapped everything, surrounded me, one of them used the "Thanks" voice command, took the intel, then left me unmolested.
Feels good to be playing with the fun side of the TF 2 community again.

I had some fun leaping around with a BASE Jumper/Sticky Jumper/Ullapool Caber moveset today on Powerhouse. Jumping up into the enemy's Sniper nest and kamikazeing them is fun, but I wish the Caber was easier to restock.

I wish the Caber wasn't a steaming pile of shit now. Also, while I still hate CTF, the joys of sentry jumping over to the opposite team's roof and setting up a nest are not to be dismissed.

CTF is good for just goofing off, really.
I usually don't bother to try and steal the intel, I just go around killing people with bizarre loadouts.

Quick question, awhile ago they nerfed the demoman and rolled it back. Did they ever nerf him again?

They only rolled back the Demo nerf partially or something, I don't know the exact deatils. And they did nerf him again by making the damage bonus on Loch-N-Load only apply to building and lowering the Caber damage so it cannot one-shot the squishier classes anymore.
