Well I wouldn’t know
It’s absolutely over the top so it’s best to be prepared
Wait, didn’t the manga get canceled because of the earthquake?
No, the creator died.
Oh shit
Welp, R.I.P. that’s sad to hear
Even before he died, Highschool of the Dead was not updated for 4 years at that point with the last chapter being around 2013 and there was a hiatus from 2011 to 2013 as well.
Which creator? The writer and the illustrator for HSOD are two different people... and IIRC, there was some discord between them that led to the hiatus.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I've not heard of a disagreement between the two, but it is indeed the writer Daisuke Sato.
Is the Elfen Lied anime only 13 episodes? Does that cover the entire manga? I thought the manga was longer than that.
Yes, the Elfen Lied anime is 13 episodes. No, the Elfin Lied anime does not cover all of the manga. It only covers a small part of it. The anime has an original ending, while the manga continued after it.

And the manga's finale is far more awesome and heartbreaking and heartwarming than the anime one. Seriously, how many anime/manga can claim to end with the anti-heroine singing softly while laying waste to a whole carrier fleet's worth of ships, jets and missiles with hundreds of invisible "hands", all while burning out her own body to heal her mortally wounded Love Interest on a cellular level, leaving her a veritable puddle of melted flesh, then tearfully beg her Love Interest to Mercy Kill her before her Enemy Within takes control permanently, followed by a Time Skip where said Love Interest is now married to his cousin (who befriended the anti-heroine) and has a kid, and the anti-heroine turns out to have reincarnated as a pair of twins who retain enough of their past life's memories to recognize the guy?

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.something i talked about my friends awhile back- I've seen a lot of posts with ONE"s OPM/Mob Psycho art, accompanied with text that says "just do it, draw now". Like, I get the sentiment, but I feel a bunch of those posts imply that "if THIS asshole can make it big, what's your excuse?"
That always came off as kinda mean spirited to me, and undersells ONE's merit as both a writer, and indeed, an artist. A friend pointed this out- ONE's art isn't immediately appealing but his later works show a firm understanding of panel layouts, and flow.
"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018I watched vanilla Yu-Gi-Oh!, which I know transates roughly to "King of Games". Then it goes Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V & Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS. What is the significance of each of the subtitles? Like, I want to know why the word Vrains is used. I mean, Vrains? That just sound so silly.
Stupid memes are stupid
One’s work is absolutely fine as is
GX is "Generation Next", 5D's is for "Five Dragons", ARC-V is a bit spoilerly must mostly refers to a pendulum, and VRAINS is both a French portmanteau and an in-universe plot element. ZEXAL is the only one that's mostly nonsense from what I know.
Doesn't ZEXAL mean 'zeal'?
"We are just like Irregular Data. And that applies to you too, Ri CO. And as for you, Player... your job is to correct Irregular Data."HOTD could easily get continued, but that could be disrespectful to the author's memory...
Does anyone recognize the anime from which this GIF◊ comes from?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko aka Hen Neko, if r/anime's comment face sources are correct.

It is, because I watched it.
Zexal stands for the Super Saint Seiya Ranger Fusion Dance and its ridiculous upgrades. Of course the best one is the Dark Zexal one.
Arc V stands for how the story arced upwards for the first half and then came crashing down into a hot cesspool of a mess with Thunder thighs Dragon. Then they flipped it upside down.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.... That's an interesting title, to say the least.
"Thunder thighs Dragon"?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. So what's good this winter?
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.x2 The ancient evil type villain Zarc who is actually Yuya's original self is a giant dragon with ridiculously huge thighs considering the upper half of his body is so slender.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. The three series I would rec would be.
- Yuru Camp is a very comfy slice of life about a camping club, it is really quite good and very modern.
- Darling In The Fran XX is an alright mech series with a lot of symbolism.
- A Place Further Than The Universe, its billed as a Slice of Life series but its more like an adventure series but still quite good.

Devilman Crybaby is great too, best alongside Darling, unless you already have seen it.
Watch Symphogear
Actually, what convinced me is an analysis video arguing that the trashiness and over-the-top nature are integral parts of the overarching themes of the show, and there's a lot of depth to the story that is easy to miss.
I'm interested to see if that's actually true, or if the guy's talking out of his ass.
