I hear that the devs had never played a Neptunia game and recreated the Lily system based on Victory's trophy list, which would explain why they wouldn't feel comfortable going all-out with the mechanics.

If not, I do wonder what these two characters are based on.

Those are from the Heart Dimension, where all the dreams of the CPU become true. So they are just the sisters Vert always wanted and aren't based on anything.

Well, not counting the fact that they are blonde versions of Uni and Ram.

I thought those were Noire and Nepgear...

Anyway I still have a feeling that the Dark Goddesses are alternate universe versions of the CPUs

Compile Heart is aggresively hiring more staff for the series and other projects.

...moar PC port, please! Right now it seems like CH can't do too much due to manpower constraints...hope this helps...or was it IFI that have manpower shortage?

Bit of column A, bit of column B. IFi needs more people if they want to put out more non-Neptunia stuff from CH. But the Japanese end is typically the one doing the coding end of things for localizations and ports unless they're outsourcing that like they did with the Vita remakes.

Didn't they outsource the PC porting of Aragest Senki to Ghostlight?

Anyway if this mena there's a chance of getting Destroyer Trillon on Steam, I'm all for it, plus a little extra hands won't hurt

Ghostlight was the European publisher already, so they ported over the EU versions of those games themselves, yes. I don't know who did the programming end of that, though.

Also, Re;Birth1 PC sales figures. Various devs have confirmed that this site is accurate for all but the newest games.

I'm not sure what that means.

Simplest interpretation of the data is that 55,402 ± 11,631 people bought or otherwise obtained the game on Steam, and, of those, about 84% of them actually bothered to start up the game.

Each entry moves about 40K copies in Japan, so yes, that's good for them. Just shows how much larger the international fanbase is.

It;s helps that there's an achievement for starting up the game...

I don;t think a Neptunia charatcer will be in Smash though, there ae other more mainstream choices (and people that other people, myself included) from franchise already represented that haven;t been in the game as fighters. Plus that serious has (from a Doylist standpoint) no Nintendo representation at all, all the games had been on either Play Station or Steam

If Blanc or Neptune get in, I'll be pleasantly surprised, if Noire gets in, I'll be surprise if Internet Backdraft doesn't ensue
