I love how in the mouseover images alone we're seeing Dirk and Dave bond as brothers more happily than they've ever been, Terezi and John's kismessitude blossom, Meenah considering a Start of Darkness, the mayor being the best, and Jasprose showing hearts towards Nepeta of a disputable variety.

And wow, this update is making me almost give half a shit about Kanaya. Props. Also, >Blitz Our Chakras.

Anyways, Meenah isn't necessarily considering a Start of Darkness. I mean, egging Condy is pretty fishy (boo), but killing LE singlehandedly is more just an irresponsible fantasy than anything.

Unrelated: today I watched both Minions and Inside Out with my father. It was fun! I prefered the latter, while my dad liked Minions better.

@Bocaj: Genghis Khan? I... don't remember that... I wonder if it's my poor memory acting up again, or if they cut that from the movie release in here. As that tumblr post points out, I had already realized how they sidestepped the Minions helping anyone during World War II. At least the movie had two not useless female characters... I think?

As for historical atrocities: Eh, sounds like backstory stuff (like Gru creating them through genetic engineering), used to make the minions more miniony by having them aid real historical villains while sidestepping the more fresh in our mind depictions of tragedy.

damn both roxy and john saying how kanaya/rose is cute makes me worried something is gonna happen to kanaya.

They revamped one of the theaters by me into a Minions theme and I've been terrified to go down that route since.

LA is kind of like... the epicenter of Minions advertising, I think? There's a lot of it here. Lots of advertising, people in Minions costumes hired to stand around malls, Minion-themed stuff...

There! LA is the epicenter of the whole Minions craze, it is the Patient Zero of this whole shit, it will grind Frozen and its hype train under its heel, and then take the rest of california.

Minions merch vs. Frozen merch is like having two different versions of Jack Noir try and stab each other to death. One of them's going to bleed and you don't care who.

I also liked Frozen, it was an excellent movie, but now it's hype has bloated it to the point where I don't even want to look at it in the eye anymore.

Speaking of Movies. It's neat, even if I'm not too into One Piece.

Now I want to see movies drawn in other manga styles. I.e. Jojo's Bizarre Everything.

That make sense, as this update made me really realize why I do give a shit about Kanaya. She have always been one of my favorite characters but, aside from sharing a sign with her, I was never much sure why. This update highlighted her best qualities, I think. I really like how convoluted her manor of speaking is while, simultaneously, I appreciate how much "to the point" she is. She talks in circles but walks straight. I find this both endearing and funny and it is why I love her.

Come to think of it, Rose share similar characteristics. I guess it makes sense.
