@Fool: He's sober actually. Apparently Karkat's shoosh-papping managed to have the same effect as sopor slime. And that's good IMO.

And...poor Karkat, having to go through ROUND 2 of watching his good bro get killed.

Okay so I'm trying to figure out if we still have a Sollux left or not. Because his main self died with the vast glub, but he had two dreamselfs. One of those dreamselfs was reincarnated and is currently dead on the meteor, isn't the other dreamself with Aradia?

...So if there's still a Sollux why is everybody upset he's dead again? Unless the one with Aradia is doomed too. Wouldn't surprise me.

because the guys on the asteroid don't know about the dreamself

pretty standard use of dramatic irony, except it wasn't very dramatic

Because the Sollux with Aradia hasn't met them yet. They just barely arrived. The welcoming committee is still busy with Dave and Rose, I think.

Whoa. That's kinda disturbing.

Actually, Sollux was first killed by the vast glub where one of his two dreamselves took over as his real-self. That's the Sollux we've all seen. Sollux's other dreamself was murdered along with all the others when Jack showed up. The Sollux at the sun is his deadself. Since he was 'half alive' his deadself was able to leave its bubble and join Aradia.

"TT: I think the true purpose of this game is to see how many qualifiers we can get to precede the word "self" and still understand what we're talking about. "

I wonder if that really is accurate...

[down] Still hold that as one of the best pesterlogs in the entire series. God damn, Dave, good job, you squicked out the paraplegic. Nice going.

The TG AT Pesterlog is actually my bookmarked Pesterlog.

It never fails.

Dave just pulled the Robe and Wizard Hat technique without an actual Robe or Wizard Hat.

YES

YES YOU SHOULD

You can just go by it fairly quickly for now, just picking up the funnier aspects, but you'll probably want to go back and check out all the things you missed the first time around, because it is JAM PACKED WITH FUN STUFF once you know what to look for.

FUNFACT: People on tumblr love homestuck-newbies blogs! I encouraged my friend to do the same!

Because if he had commentary on every single page and then posted it here before he was all caught up while we in the thread are talking about current, spoiler-heavy updates, many of which is unmarked, I would punch him.

I'm hoping that when HS finishes (though it's probably not going to end for a while) we get blogs that are about re-reading Homestuck and pointing out what people missed.

As for the update: we haven't seen a DEAD sound effect yet.

Though it's all but official really. Once again, Gamzee is a mood killer.
