The only problem I have is that making Blind Alley specific to the "the pursuers won't see you" variant is that almost as often it's used in a different way — the pursued runs into an alley without being able to see whether it's open at the other end or not. Sometimes it is and they get away, sometimes it isn't...

This seems a viable trope if we don't have it some where already. I can't imaging a different title that would be as effective. There is one example. The discussion page is archived from a time before the current system so I don't know if it went through YKTTW.
