Pokémon General Thread

I can think of quite a few Pokemon in need of a BST bump.

I'd like to see base form Rotom get a boost to its Special Attack and Speed to give it an actual niche compared to its appliance forms. It could be a fast, frail sweeper while the others are bulky pivots with odd moves.

That would be amazing.

Any excuse to just completely not give a shit about Diglett or Dugtrio just sticking out of the air revealing nothing is a good one.

I had toyed with the idea of a Ghost/Electric TV Rotom, to be honest. We'd need a Ghost-type Hydro Pump analogue, though.

Make Pokedex Rotom usable, as an Electric/Steel Type.

I find it sad that you can't catch Rotom in Sun and Moon.

I wish that's what happens when Pokemon Bank becomes available. Then it'd have an exclusive Steel-type move that has a small chance of confusing the opponent. I call it Information Overload.

Since most electronics are made of plastic it'd probably be Electric/Normal.

Since it's a device for storing information, I imagine Pokedex Rotom would be Electric/Psychic-type.

If Dugtrio has High Jump Kick, its viability ranking will be S.

Being able to use Pokedex Rotom would be kinda disappointing, though, because it wouldn't be our buddy Rotom who's been with us through thick and thin, it'd just be some other Rotom possessing a Pokedex.

Since it's a device that transmits data, I'd say it should be an Electric/Electric type

If he was Navi-esque he would be making annoying noises and pausing the action repeatedly. He's quiet and his text just displays on the bottom screen.

Anyway, today I played Omega Ruby and encountered my second shiny Zigzagoon, on Route 4 again.

This happened while I was EV training an Unown.

I personally don't find him annoying, but others do, and I'm still mid-game so maybe he gets more annoying later on.

There's also a bit of extra flavor text when you register something in the dex, but that's hardly a big deal.

If anything I think they could of done more with him, like translated Pokemon speak or something.

I don't care what anyone says, Rotomdex is a treasure.

I found Dextom to be easy to ignore. So easy, in fact, that I barely remember anything it said bar how it has the hots for the Normal-type captain whose name escapes me.
