I have a box half-full of Shinies now seeing as Gen 6 made them easier to catch. I wish I hadn't traded my Shiny Braixen, though.

A bit late but a far more reliable move with boosting potential.

Okay so Sterok was gushing about how great Youkai Watch was earlier and how Pokemon could learn from it

and I kind of wish Digimon was still somewhat comparable as a competitor, since Cyber Sleuth actually has a lot of great ideas I think would fit Pokemon very well.

The whole Digifarm thing is great. Beats the living hell out of the boxes to store Pokemon in - I could see Pokemon Box getting a huge update and turning into this at some point, since it's basically that farm thing from back in early Gen 4 but better in every way.

Your mons auto level up to about the highest level active one you have, I think (that's actually a little broken, but with adjustments I think it could work well), you can feed them to boost affection, and have them work on improving training facilities, finding items for you, and other things. Everything also runs in real time, so while cheesable, it's not as bad as it could be. It's also got visual customizations that's not half assed 2-d sprites like mon amie's things are.

I also hear that Cyber-Sleuth has a relevant, adult-centric storyline. Most of the Digimon fans I've spoken to about Cyber-Sleuth have been very enthusiatic about the game, saying that it's absolutely comparable to ORAS in terms of polish and overall quality, if not better.

I have been recently replaying Johto games (though technically, I have yet to finish remakes and I am playing HeartGold now).

AND HOLY SHIT IS THE LEVEL CURVE BAD. The only time I've ever noticed it before was with huge jump between Blue and Red, but now it's stinging me as early as Chuck.

It's definitely up there. The translation is a train wreck, sadly.

Okay, but doesn't Volcarona want to cause damage before it gets damaged?

Isn't Fiery Dance often too weak to OHKO a lot of threats?

It can fail to nab some OHKOs on healthy targets, but if you're using Volcarona you want to wait until lategame when stuff has been weakened.

Evolving Hydreigon by beating Red sounds about right.

I got a Mew card with a misprinted (read: almost completely illegible) code. My mom eventually agreed to swap cards with me. By that time, my massive number of guesses as to what the hell my code was got me locked out of trying again for "a while".

She managed to get Mew from my card, but... I'm still locked out of using hers. No idea when I'll be able to get my Mew, if ever. I'm a forgetful bastard who can't read illegibly-misprinted codes, so I may not get my perfectly legitimate Mew due to being locked out of entering codes until I forget.

Dodou's now a Dodrio.

In your personal opinion, how does Dodrio compare in team battles?

Decent stats, but its movepool is super lacking. It just gets STABs and Dark coverage.

Well I'll still treasure him. Especially since I got something that can fly without wings. Or propulsion in Golurks case.

So why does Smogon recommend investing almost full points into Conkeldurr's Special Defense with it's Assault Vest?

Wouldn't you want to want to invest it into HP instead, so it can take both special and physical hits?

The investment gives it better Special bulk than dumping it in HP due to how the math works.

Mixed bulk is rarely good in practice.

Mons only run mixed bulk if they're able to hit specific benchmarks on both spectrums.

Sigilyph is one of my favorite pokemon ever. I can't help but wonder what a mega for it would look like.

Huh, you know, turning into a Nazca spider and becoming psychic/bug would be pretty neat.

**That's right, Jasmine's ace better than Pryce's even though she's earlier in the Case.
That's because you can fight Chuck, Jasmine and Pryce in any order, since Fly doesn't open up broken bridges.
