Pokémon General Thread

Yeah, uhm, a bit late to the party, but sign me up as one of those people who care about their Pokemon. Too much.

I've been trying to finally finish White 1, but I'm stuck. I just can't decide which team to stick to in order to take on the final boss! My Eviolite'd Dewott (the noble sir Kawashiro) is not even up for discussion, neither is Yanyan the Whimsicott. Lilligant is called Bianca, which makes a great Pokemon even better. I'm totally in love with my derpy Crustle called Diogenes, and I happened to come across a female Axew that has the exact same personality as said derpy Diogenes, so it would just be a crime to not keep them together. Also, I called her Mrs. Tusks. And Hella Bro (my Scrafty) just fits Hilda's style far too perfectly to miss, not to mention his nickname.

So that's six Pokemon, but I would also really like to get Abaddon in there, because Scolipede is just so hilariously demonic looking and would perfectly round out the team, particularly next to Echo Lali, my darling Audino! And DiaoYeZong (Leavanny), and Caramel (Maractus), but most of all Armada, my good old Boisterous Bruiser Carracosta... He was Kawashiro's sensei! Aaauuugh!

I could, of course, form one primary team and a secondary team, but then I'm afraid of growing tired of these mons before I'm picking them up in White 2, and stuff?! But I guess I shouldn't worry about that because every Pokemon is an individual I gueeeess? I guess I'll just imagine that Armada is letting Kawashiro spread his wings on his own now and is chilling out with the other dudes, where Echo Lali is working on restraining Abaddon from raining doom upon the world.

;-; I was trying to play pokemon snap to get myself in the mood for black 2. But it doesnt wanna work anymore. Ive had this game for 10 years.

I see that in B/W 2 you can actually choose what kind of show you want to watch on TV.

I did find a Christmas gift for some family members. (Walking Dead: Season 1)

So... Victory?

White 2 Team (mentioned several times before):

• Serperior - Only starter I haven't used yet.
• Crobat - Favorite Pokemon, use it on every one of my in-game teams provided it's available
• Salamence - Been wanting to use Salamence on a proper team, since it's my favorite pseudo-legendary. Still need to get that egg, though.
• Flareon - Favorite Eeveelution, been wanting to use it, and Arcanine is overrated.
• Meloetta/Genesect - The former is my favorite event legendary and I want to give her mixed set a go, but if the former doesn't get released here soon I'll settle for the latter, who's got a great typing and movepool.
• Milotic/Jellicent - I haven't used either of these all that much, but Milotic gets priority since I never used it on a proper team. If I can't get one, I'll settle for Jellicent.

Picked up my copy of B/W2. SO HYPE.

SO HYPE THAT I NAMED MY TEPIG HYPE. ALLCAPS.

White 2 get.

"Greetings. I am Professor Wesker. This is the Pokemon world. In seven minutes, seven minutes it will be subjugated under my command with the power of Ouroboros! The wheat and chaff will be separated at last! Hmmhmmhmmhmmhmm. Now, are you a boy or a girl?"

Hmm, although there are a lot of Pokemon in this generation that I really like, or perhaps BECAUSE of that, I'll try to stop spoiling myself as to the locations of the various mons and just go through the game naturally, picking up whatever feels right at a whim. To make it feel more like a natural adventure, less forceful.

Although... how early can you get a Mienfoo? I'll be sad if even in the second game, I won't be able to have my own pajama fighter until the game's already over.

Fawriel? Is it possible to trade Pokes over Wi-Fi with Black 1 and Black/White 2?

If it is, I can bred one for you, AND give it Pokerus.

WHY DID ALDER JUST SHOW UP LIKE FIVE MINUTES IN?!

I think I might name a few of my team stereotypical pet names I have seen. Socks, Blacky, etc. Hydreigon named Blacky.

I would think a realistic disease system like the Pokerus would be cool, but if it was bad.

I should be confusing and nickname a Reshiram Zekrom and a Zekrom Reshiram.

And name myself Ghetsis.

Got Pokemon Black 2. Got a female Snivy on the first try. Named her Antoinette.

I'd assume it is, Broccoli! But I'll have to consult with my inner child to see if I want to do that... If I do, I'll get back to you on that! <3

Got my Black 2 copy - so this challenge mode key is IR only?

What should I name my rival? My sister told me to name him Poop, but I don't think I'm going to do that. I could make a joke regarding the fact that he's voiced by Sean Schemmel and name him something like Goku or HRAAAAAA.

I had a family member try to get it.

So, if luck is on my side, I shall get it sometime this week.

Still can't decide on a name. Now my sister is recommending "Professor Oak". Which doesn't fit.
