RBY and GSC got remade so they would be compatible with Gen III and can be uploaded to Gen IV via Pal Park. RSE can already do Pal Park, and a rehash of them just feels like money-grubbing.

It is not "money-grubbing" if making it is what the fans want.

You mean the Pal Park that might as well not be usable anymore since D Si's and 3DSs don't come with GBA slots?

Well, I understand for the D Si but the games are DS games, so if you bought a 3DS for mainly playing regular DS games then that was a bit daft.

True. But is it really money grubbing if it is something fans are asking for? I could see if they made something not worth it and tried to sell it but for something that would be worth the price I do not think that quite fits.

We already have new games. We do not need anything new for awhile.

I said there was no need to revisit Hoenn. Not no reason. Besides, those people who haven't played it can still do so, they can always give RSE an e-shop release.

In terms of rival tiers, I don't rank them by difficulty because none of them are, so it's entirely personality/design/using mons I like:

• Silver - I like his story the most, he's a douche and then he reforms. I also like his team. Rule63!Silver looks better than the actual Silver though.
• Blue - I was torn between putting him second or on the very bottom - I really hate all the hype he gets by the fandom for just being a petty dick but on the other hand he has a cool team, and matures in Gen II/IV.
• Barry - Staraptor is a boss, and Heracross is one of my favourite Pokemon. He's also really badass in Diamond And Pearl Adventure!
• Wally - He's lucky to even be considered a rival, he had potential to be better. I like him as a character but they should have rounded out his team with the third starter Pokemon. And make him appear more.
• Cheren - He left no impact on me. Looks better in BW2 though
• Bianca - She left no impact on me apart from being a stupid wuss.

And that's all of them. Brendan/May don't get a placement because they're gigantic failures, not rivals.

We already have RSE games. We don't need RSE games for a while.

The fact that New generations sell better than remakes shows what the fans have a preference for.

That is completely different. RSE is not readily available.

And fans also like remakes. There is no harm in making them in addition to new games.

No it is not. They are out of print and even if you do manage to find one they are expensive. Thus not readily available. And fans already have the originals why would they buy it again when what they want are remakes?

I'm always confused when people say that D/P/Pt shouldn't be remade. I mean, it's obvious that they shouldn't be remade now, but of course not. The window of them being remade won't even start for five years. They'll be on the edge of whatever Nintendo does after the 3DS, and who knows what format their games will be then.

My point is, it's easy to say that they shouldn't be remade, but there will some day be a time where they should.

I don't see how making the 3makes is money grubbing if it's what the fans are asking for. Sure, they make a lot of money off of it, but we're giving them that money willingly.

Hard to find and expensive my ass.

They are most likely not going to release any main series Pokemon games on the e-shop due to the lack of multiplayer. Also, there aren't any plans to put any GBA games on the e-shop.

You know full well that I was talking about new copies and not old ones.

Um, yeah, and they have new copies on there.

Would it really matter if it's old or new?

I personally hate playing used games.

I just went to Amazon. The one new copy of Pokemon Emerald is listed for $349.99. A used copy is $39.99.

I prefer not to buy used games, personally. I like to know that when I get it, it's not going to be wrecked somehow.

Amazon is also far more reputable than eBay. And the prices are set by whoever is selling.
