Manager trainee, despite the boring name it pays pretty well even after factoring cost of living especially once the training is done, it's not bad for a first real job fresh out of college if I do say so myself, also it lets me be able to pay for a Masters in which I will then be able to acquire sexier sounding titles.

taric's actually one of the best supports, and there are some others that are pretty cheap too.
just don't ever try and play zilean support, it's pretty horrible.

Was it possible they had movement speed masteries/runes in addition to higher speed boots than you?
I actually lost a ranked game today against support Zilean. Although I sort of want to say that it was actually because I was supporting Vayne and they had the invincible Ezreal. Really it was because I tried to outpoke him instead of focusing on my heal and defense...going in to poke Ezreal is a stupid idea when they can burst you down. Dem bombs.
I know what makes them tick...

Unconventional picks only work if the other person doesn't know how to react.
I went up and fed first blood and came dangerously close to dying a second time to an Ashe + Doran Ring start Kayle lane as Draven, but after that, I played more cautiously until Kayle's lack of damage items caught up with her, and then proceeded to beat them.
Blue already knows all about that, he plays Karma.
