According to an interview that was intentional. They used Clementine as an example; during episode 1 her dress is bright and clean, but by the later episodes is dirty and disheveled. This was meant to represent both the group's hardships and metaphorical loss of innocence. Nice touch really.
#IceBearForPresidentAnd if you don't take the food from the station wagon, by the end her dress is caked in blood and gore.
Yeah... poor Clementine.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."The xbox is doing a sale right now, Episode 1 is free while the rest are half off. Tell your friends.
#IceBearForPresidentSpeaking of Lillie's face, the title card for Episode 2 is rather uncanney valley.
That kinda happens either way, considering zombie guts got pushed on her by Lee.

The world isn't ready for giant T4 combustion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GbpGiYmBSs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKm9Yeah, but I'm talking about her dress, specifically.
If you take the food, then guts only get on her hoodie.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."How do you not know Lee's past? We learn pretty much all of it in episode 1: He killed a US senator who was sleeping with his wife. His family, who he had been estranged from for a time, owned a drug store in Macon, and he taught history at UGA.
I thought a poster before me was saying you get more info in a Carley playthrough. Episode 1 didn't have Lee explicitly come out and say "I killed my wife" so I figured maybe I missed something. Guess not, just meant it comes out to the group.
DumboHe killed the senator...

Right. Misspoke.
DumboLee does come out and say "I killed a senator," though.
Or rather "I'm a felon."
And then Kenny's like "Did you touch kids?"
And Lee's like "No, I killed a guy."
So yeah.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Then never mind my offhand remark about needing to see an alternate scene.
Let's discuss the Activision game instead of me and how Telltale can make fun of it in Season 2.
DumboI haven't looked into it much, but I assumed it would be terrible, and all I've heard is how terrible it is.
Well there's already a thread for the Activision game so whatever you want to say about it, say it there.
Zombie FPS's have been done to death...
Okay, what do we want next game season?

Where you play as the zombie.
Larry was also sympathetic.
"The pair noted that the character Larry doesn't say or do a single nice thing to Lee, but players often empathised with him anyway. Some players would take the low ground and retaliate with cruel digs and actions, others found Larry's behaviour made them want to try harder to be liked by him, while some would navigate each social situation based on what made sense at the time.
Shockingly, in Episode 2, where players are asked which four characters they'll feed, 42 per cent chose Larry, placing him as the fourth choice overall. To put this in perspective, 96 per cent fed Clementine, 95 chose Duck, and 58 per cent chose Mark, a new character. Thus, more people chose Larry than any of the other adults from Episode 1."
Jonah FalconI did give Larry a piece of food. The rationale was that feeding him might calm him and avoid problems later on.
Pretty interesting how the writers didn't assume people choose Carley over Doug over superficial matters, but rather looked at it from a narrative standpoint. Kudos to them.
#IceBearForPresidentThat's an interesting thought. Would TWD still be good if Clementine was removed? Note how I phrased that, and didn't say "Would TWD still be as good if Clementine was removed", because the short version of that answer is a profound no.
A friendly flower, and your best friend. He has a knack for funny faces.Hmm......does it say something I'm gay and chose Doug?......
(although really it was that I watched a let's play of Episode 1 where he chose Carley, so I chose Doug to see something different. Can't say who'd I'd have picked otherwise......)
DumboI chose Carly because she had a gun.
But all of my other playthroughs I kept Doug because he's much more interesting. And funny. (munch, munch on the biscuits.)
Jonah FalconThe other rationale for feeding Larry is that you can probably feed him and stay good with Lilly if you pass her over, similar to Duck for Kenny and Katjaa. Feeding Larry and Duck effectively covers five group members with two pieces of food. (Sort of funny when you consider that they seem to be the most hated members by the players at that point.)
Text I feel is necessary to append to every post.Personally I chose Carley because she had saved me earlier, and I felt the need to return a favor. But yeah, there's also the fact that she's an attractive woman who has a gun going for her.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."
Plus, y'know, her dad died.
I actually really love that about this game: You can see the effects of stress on everyone. Lily's hair gets messier, and she gets bags under her eyes, Kenny develops bags as well, and he gets this unsettling dead-eye look at times. And Lee's... beard grows.
